Doug: (grabs B; walks to panel) And this time, everyone's in on this.

The comedian who played the policeman's ball bombed really badly.
Instead of throwing things at the comic, the cops just << BLANKED >> him.

(audience laughs) (think music plays)

 

Doug: All right, they're set.  Andy, let's see if we can get you on
the board here.

Andy: Shot.

(audience applause)

Doug: Great answer.  Shot him.  Let's see if anyone here took a shot,
so to speak.  Troy, we start with you.

Troy: He had an electrifying performance when the cops --

[TASERED HIM]

Doug: Hmmm.  (judge activates buzzer) (audience boos)  Now, now. 
Shot and taser are two different things.  Shot implies the use of
an "old fashioned" gun with bullets.  And as Troy prefaced, electric
shocks come in tasering the comic.  

(a few more boos) 

Doug: Oh, boo yourself.  Chad, get me out of this.

Chad: Boys, let's just nip this guy in the bud.

[CUFF HIM!]

(buzz) (audience applause)

Doug: An arresting performance, in other words.  Like that.  Tom?

Tom: The police went to the library and...

(*( Threw the book )*) 

Tom: at him!

(audience laughs) (buzz)

Doug: One can only wonder if it was a joke book.  No shots, so
far, as we visit the Ryan Express.  The comedian who played the 
policeman's ball bombed really badly.  Instead of throwing things 
at the comic, the cops just << BLANKED >> him.  Andy said shot

the cops...

Shawn: Up against that fake brick wall, buddy!!!
 
[Handcuffed]

(buzz) (scattered applause)

Doug: Another arrest -- but no shot.
