MG Round 1 Question B

Doug: (grabs B; walks to panel) OK, this one's just for Rick and
here's the query.

Veronica said, "The new World Almanac is out, and I just read about
the world's least popular nude beach. It's located close to and
frequented by << BLANKS >>."

(think music plays)

Doug: And they're all set. Rick, the question again...

Veronica said, "The new World Almanac is out, and I just read about
the world's least popular nude beach. It's located close to and
frequented by << BLANKS >>."

Rick: Crabs

(smattering of applause)

Doug: Suddenly, you've painted this awful picture that I have
in my head. (light laughter from the crowd) Let's just come over
here and compare answers. Dean?

Dean: I would not want to be at any beach, nude or not, if it was
infested with...

Doug: That was my thought. Jay?

Doug: Hello! (audience laughs) (buzz) Another awful picture
painted. To the other Jay now.

Jay C.: Well, this particular nude beach is unpopular because it's
in the South Pole. That means, it's frequented by [Penguins]!

(buzz) (audience laughs)

Doug: (pauses) Oh, I thought for *sure* the guys in the control
room would fire up "Cold As Ice" by Foreigner. (audience laughs)
Anyway, over to Ryan. Veronica said, "The new World Almanac is out,
and I just read about the world's least popular nude beach. It's
located close to and frequented by << BLANKS >>."

Ryan: (card)

(audience laughs) (buzz)

Doug: Well, I could see that. Thing is the last line. "It's
located close to and frequented by << *BLANKS* >>." So we were
looking for a plural answer. In any event, Alex?

Alex: It's frequented by Floridians. (buzz) Too much old, wrinkly,
flappy skin.

(audience laughs)

Doug: LOL! I like that one. And, Chad, wrap this up for us.

Chad: (card)

[ROSIE O'DONNELL]

(buzz)

Doug: Again, we were looking for a plural answer. Oh well...

Rick's response: CRABS

Doug: With one round in the books, David leads 100 to nothing. We'll
be back for Round 2 -- after this message from your RCA-Victor dealer.

(audience applause; MG-HSH music plays)
