MG Round 3 Question B

Doug: And welcome back to the Net Temptation - Wipeout Hour.

(audience laughs) (Doug pushes button revealing Round 3 questions on
the toaster)

Doug: OK, Steve and John, this is the last round. The leading player
when this round's over goes on to face our champion, Chad Mosher. Steve,
you've managed to turn a hat trick of sorts -- and have won the right
to go first in these three rounds. The pick again is yours -- A or B?

Steve: Well...I took B, and it was tough, and then I took B, and it
was tough again, but I just watched the movie "Wag the Dog" which has
instructed me that it's not a good idea to change horses mid-stream...
let's go B again.

Doug: Um, actually, Steve, you picked A the first two rounds and...
(looks to judge -- who mouths "B" a few times) ...you said "let's go
B" so...

Doug: ... (grabs B) B is the question we play with. (walks to panel)

Doug: You scored matches with Jay, Tim and Alan. So only Troy,
Will and Ryan will tackle this question.

Confucious say, "Man who store all of his money in refrigerator has
<< BRANK >>."

(audience laughs) (MG '7x wank think music plays)

Doug: All righty, Steve. Let's see how well B serves ya.

Confucious say, "Man who store all of his money in refrigerator has
<< BRANK >>."

Steve: I'll say he has "Cold Hard Cash"

(audience cheers)

Doug: There ya go. That's the answer. Troy, did you come up with
the answer?

Troy: Steve, here's something I know you want - and that Doug owes me -
COLD HARD CASH.

(ding; audience applause)

Doug: We'll take care of that negotiation during the break. Will?

Will: This is a no-brainer. Man who store arr money in refrigerator has:

[ CORD CASH ]

Doug: Cord cash?

(ding; audience applause)

Will: It's intentionally misspelled on the card to fit with Confucius' Engrish.

(light laughter from the crowd)

Doug: Ah, fair enough. You were actually going for "cold cash" -- and that's
close enough to "cold hard cash". Either way, spelling doesn't count and
the judge already called it a match. Now we get to Ryan. Ryan, if you
match Steve, he has a perfect score and he'll have a total of CY$1000.

Ryan: He's got it.

COLD HARD CASH | (match in R1) | CORD CASH
COLD CASH | (match in R2) | (match in R1)

Steve's response: COLD HARD CASH

Doug: Steve, you've maxed out. John, you've got to max out to send
this to a tie-breaker.
