HS Round 3 Question 3

Ryan: Greg, pick a square.

(Before Greg can make his move, Mystic Girl runs back into her square, 
covered in crazy string and with a piece of pizza dough on her head.  She 
takes down the three signs)

Ryan: Mystic One!  We were worried about you!

Mystic Girl: Where's Todd Newton when you need him?

Ryan (concerned): Uh oh.  Sounds like you've been visited by the dreaded 
Whammy. (audience boos)

Mystic Girl: By a whole gang of 'em!  They took my money, then they did this 
to me! (audience boos again)  That's why I missed my question.

Ryan (looking at Mystic's square): So, let's talk about something else.  I 
bet you saw the awards, and I guess your signs didn't work.  What do you have 
to say about it?

Mystic Girl: Only this... (Flipping the "Out to Lunch" sign over, she 
scribbles a new message, then puts it in her square as she takes the pizza 
dough off her head)

Greg: Jason to Win

 

 

(audience cheers)

Ryan: Jason, Who said, "I'm a philosophy major.  That means I can think deep 
thoughts about being unemployed"?

Jason: You guys really make it hard for a guy to make a joke. But if a 
comment like that were to bring up a name, it'd be the dry wit of Alex Trebek

Greg: I Aggre?

Ryan: No it was Bruce Lee. Circle gets the square.

 

 

(ding) (time's up sfx)

Ryan: Well, let's check the score. Eddie, you got 1 circle for Cy$500. Greg, you've 
got 2 X's good for Cy$1,000 more bringing your score Cy$3,000 and makes you 
our first Grand Champion! 

(audience cheers; sirens; slot machine payoff sfx; MG-HSH win music plays)

 

 

Ryan: I'll be back with you in a moment. Eddie, for playing such a great 
game, here is this check for Cy$25,000! 
(Cheers)

Ryan: We add that to everything that you have won your final total is Cy$68,750! 
(cheers)

Greg, for being our Grand Champion, here is a check for Cy$50,000! (Cheers)
