(Doug pushes the button revealing the first round questions)

Doug: Rick, you won the right to go first, you may pick A or B.

Rick: Let's go with A.

 

 

Doug: A, you say.  (grabs A)  A you get.  (walks over to the panel)  We're 
starting anew, stars, so all six of you get to play.  Dick Clark is so old...

Audience not quite together: How old is he?

Doug: ...geez, that was awful.  (audience laughs) As I was saying...

Doug: OK, Rick, they're all ready.  Here's your assignment one
more time...

(audience applause)

Doug: Moses!  Excellent thought from a drummer of a Christian rock band.
BTW, what's the name of your band?

Rick: Our band's name is "First Light".  We have a CD we are releasing
soon!  Check your local music retailer!!  

Doug: Can we order it through K-Tel?  (audience laughs) Let's see if you 
score a few points with our congregation.  We'll start with our old friend,
Charlie Pevey.

Charlie: Doug, I have the definitive answer.

Doug: Oh, do tell.

Charlie: Dick Clark, host of "Pyramid", made me think of the pyramids of 
Egypt.  Who's the best known king of Egypt?

Mark: Well, seeing how I used to work with him, I said (flip)
CAESAR.

(buzz)

Doug: Caesar says -- no match.  (audience laughs)  Well, Rick,
no Moses as yet as we come down to Ryan.  Dick Clark is so old,

Ryan: You're showing your age when you asked Rick about K-Tel.

Doug: Yeah, if that didn't give it away, my gray hairs do.
(audience laughs)

Ryan: I had a lot of good answers, But I said...

Klaussie.

Mike: I was going to say "his original hair color" but given Clark's 
age and his experience with pyramids, I came up with King Tut.
