Doug: (grabs B; walks to panel)  This time, everyone on the panel plays 
Dane's question since he's yet to record a match.  (looks at card) 
Ahhhh...Jay, you might want to come out of your Ben Stein facade for 
this one...

Did you hear Dumb Dora "came on down" to Net Price is Right?  

(a few celebs and audience members say, "No.")

You didn't?  Well, somehow, Dumb Dora won the right to play for a 
Corvette in Three Strikes.  Her first question to Jay Lewis: 
"Where's the << BLANK >>?"

(MG '7x synth vamp think music plays)

 

 

 

Doug: All right, Dane, they're ready.  Let's see if you
can get on the board.

Did you hear Dumb Dora "came on down" to Net Price is Right?  
Somehow, Dumb Dora won the right to play for a Corvette in 
Three Strikes.  Her first question to Jay Lewis: 
"Where's the << BLANK >>?"

Dane: Dumb Dora asked "Where's the BAT?"

(audience applause)

Doug: That's a goodie.  Where's the bat?  Of course, since the Three
Strikes game has a baseball motif to it, anything connected with
baseball should work.  Greg, did you come up with "bat"?

Greg: It was Three Strikes, so naturally Dumb Dora wanted to know 
where the...

Doug: Another good thought.  No match however.  Well, Dane, let's see 
if you can match the expert opinion of the duke of Dice Game and the
sultan of Spelling Bee... Ja-- uh... Ben Stein.  (audience laughs and
applauds)

Jay: If Jay were here he'd...wait...I am Jay but I'm pretending...
oh heck, I'm all confused now!  (audience laughs and applauds)

Doug: Well, dare I say it, we're in the ballpark.  Just no matches
as yet.  Seth?

Seth: (card) [Pitcher]

(buzz)

Doug:  Another hurler.  No match as we come to Ryan.  Dumb Dora "came
on down" to NPiR, won the right to play for a Corvette in Three Strikes and
her first question to Jay Lewis:  "Where's the << BLANK >>?"  Dane said 
"bat" and you wrote down...

Dean: "Where's the..."

(Dean tosses card away)  (audience laughs)

Dean: Um, here's what happened: Jay said, "Batter up for Three Strikes, 
Dora," and then Dumb Dora looked around the studio and asked
 "Where's the..."

John: She was VERY dumb.  She asked "Where's the ZONKS?"

(buzz) (audience laughs and applauds)
