Scarlett: Back to Doug Morris and Net Poker.

(audience cheers)

Doug: I thank you, Scarlett. We have two affluent finalists for Joker Poker.

TONY
ANDY

Doug: Andy won the first round and CY$7500. Tony wons the second round and CY$7500. But as Scarlett told us, a lot more can be won.

Joker Poker plays just like 5-Card Poker. The big difference -- there are two Jokers in the deck. If you draw a Joker, you may use it for anything when your hand's complete.

The other difference is a different theme of questions. And let's get to theme. It is...

THE FRAME GAME

Doug: ...The Frame Game. We're going to put three words in as many frames -- like this...

DRAW
???
CHIP

Doug: We have "draw" in the top frame and "chip" in the bottom frame. What you have to do is figure out the word that's hidden in the middle frame. That word will lead to two different two-word phrases. And in this example...

DRAW
POKER
CHIP

(ding)

Doug: ...the word is "poker" for "draw poker" and "poker chip".

Since Andy won the first round, he cut the deck for this round. Here are the first two cards from the top of the deck.

D.J.: We're starting with the Ace of Spades and the 9 of Clubs.

Doug: All right, Tony, Andy, good luck. A lot at stake as we take a look at this set of frames. Remember, tell me the word that belongs in the middle.

MODERN
???
FEUD

(Andy buzzes in)

Doug: Andy.

Andy: FAMILY

Doug: He says with authority -- and he's right.

(ding; audience applause)

Doug: First 10 points of the final round are yours, Andy -- and also the first choice of card.

Andy: The ace

Doug: No surprise. I should note, as Deej places the cards on the board...

TONY

ANDY

Doug: ...that five of a kind is possible in this round. Because of that, five of a kind and a natural royal flush will each pay CY$1,000,000. (audience cheers) So with that, let's see the next two cards.

D.J.: The Ace of Diamonds and the King of Diamonds.

Doug: Obviously a royal flush of any kind is out of the discussion. Five of a kind still possible for Andy as we go on to this next set of frames.

TOOTH
???
TALE

(Andy buzzes in)

Doug: Andy again.

Andy: FAIRY.

Doug: He says again with confidence -- and he's right.

(ding; audience applause)

Doug: Tooth fairy and fairy tale. Andy, which card?

Andy: The ace.

Doug: Working on that possible CY$1,000,000 five of a kind.

TONY

ANDY

Doug: Tony gets a King out of that. Next two cards.

(scattered cheers)

D.J.: Wow -- the Ace of Clubs and the King of Spades.

Doug: Ohhh -- kay. Getting interesting no matter how you look at it. Next group of frames.

CHARLOTTE
???
MOUSE

(Andy buzzes in)

Doug: Andy.

Andy: CHURCH.

Doug: Dude, there's no need to shout -- I'm right here. (audience laughs) And you're right.

(ding; audience applause)

Doug: Charlotte Church, the singer, and church mouse, the Lewis Carroll character. Andy, you're up to 30 points. I have to ask -- which card?

Andy: The ace.

Doug: Another rocket for Andy.

TONY

ANDY

Doug: Tony gets another King. Andy would prefer to see an Ace or a Joker in this pair coming up -- just not at the same time. Let's see what happens.

(audience groans)

D.J.: The CY$1,000,000 dream is over for Andy in this round. The 9 of Hearts and the 10 of Diamonds.

Doug: OK -- anything can still happen. With that, let's go to our next set of frames.

SHORT
???
BREAKER

(Tony buzzes in)

Doug: Tony.

Tony: Circuit.

Doug: That's right.

(ding; audience applause)

Doug: Tony, you're down 30 to 10. Which card?

Tony: As much as I might reject it under normal circumstances, I'll take the 9 for 2 pair.

Doug: And with that, high hand's still within your grasp.

TONY

ANDY

Doug: If Tony gets a Joker, King or 9, he completes a full boat. Andy, potentially, can complete a better full boat. Next two cards come face down.

Doug: And let's up the ante. Fifteen points with this last set of frames.

PYRRHIC
???
LANE

(Tony buzzes in)

Doug: Tony.

Tony: Victory.

Doug: That's it.

(ding; audience applause)

Doug: Pyrrhic victory is a victory that comes with heavy losses. Victory lane is where you'd find the winner of a NASCAR or, likely, other auto race. Tony, you're down by 5. Got a chance at 25 more. Left or right?

Tony: Let's go with the right card this time.

Doug: Very well.
