5-Card Poker

ERIK

Doug: Erik, you'd like a 10. A King or 9 would help your cause. Let's see Erik's last card, please, Deej.

Doug: Queen of Diamonds. Still a pair of 10s. Michael, lookin' pretty good. A 10 completes a straight, any face gives you a better pair. A 9 or an Ace would break your heart. Deej, please show us how Michael completed his hand.

Doug: But let's get the motors running for another Poker Run.

(motorcycle sfx)

Doug: This time, our players build on the current point totals in a race to 100 points. Each question in the Poker Run is worth 15 points. But we'll increase the value by 5 points for each face card that's about to come down the chute.

These are the next cards from the top of the deck. Let's have the Poker Run cards please.

D.J.: The Jack of Diamonds and the King of Clubs.

Doug: Full points -- 25 a question. Michael, two right answers puts you in the Joker Poker round. Erik, you'll need four.

But I have a lot of analogies as we start a new Poker Run -- NOW!

Brett Favre is to the number 4 as Terry Bradshaw is to the number...

(Michael buzzes in)

Doug: Michael.

Michael: 12 aka the Jill Manas number.

(ding)

Doug: That's right.

A bicentennial is to a 200th anniversary as a sesquicentennial is to a...

(Michael buzzes in)

Doug: Michael for the round.

Michael: 150th anniversary

(ding)

Doug: That's right and that's the poker run.

Doug: Congratulations, Michael. A chance to win CY$7500 is coming up shortly -- and then you'll play Joker Poker against Tony.

Erik, we hope you had fun on the show. We give you CY$10 per point or CY$200. We also have great gifts for you backstage. Thanks for playing Net Poker. A nice hand for Erik.

(audience cheers)

Doug: Michael, which letter in "POKER" can we interest you in?

Michael: I'll go with E as in "Everybody loves Robert Loggia".

(audience laughs)

Doug: All right, Seth MacFarlane. Behind E, we find...

Doug: When we come back, Tony comes back to play in our championship round of Wild Card High Hand Card Game. That's another way to say -- Joker Poker. Yup, it features In Other Words -- after this.
