Doug: Michael.
Michael: Robert Griffin III
Doug: That's the celeb.
Doug: Plates read "QB in D.C." and "A.K.A. RG3". He's the quarterback for the Washington Redskins -- and wears number 10. Hence that connection. Now that your getting the hang of this, here's the next pair of plates.

Doug: Michael again.
Michael: I was hoping for this name to come up. Bo Derek.
Doug: Of course it's Bo.
Doug: First plate is "starred in '10'", as in the movie that really put her in the spotlight. She was famous for the corn rows in her hair. Michael with 30 points, the others with 10 as we go to this next pair of plates.

Doug: And it's Erik.
Erik: Drew Carey
Doug: You betcha.
Doug: "10 Chances", one of the games he hosts on "The Price is Right. And before that, he hosted "Power of 10". Tony, let's see if you can get on the board with this next pair.

Doug: And it's Tony.
Tony: Bruce Jenner.
Doug: That's the star.
Doug: "Love Kris", his wife from "Keeping Up with the Kardashians". Long before that, he -- "won Gold in '76". We used the chemical symbol for Gold in that plate.
By the way, he won the decathlon in 1976's Olympics in Montreal. The decathlon is comprised of -- wait for it -- ten events.
With that, Michael still at 30, the others tied at 20 as we go to this final pair.

Doug: Michael.
Michael: I don't know what he has to do with the number 10, but the answer is Charlie Daniels.
Doug: You'll find out shortly -- because you're right.
Doug: He's famous for wearing a *ten*-gallon hat. Plates relate to two of his famous songs. "Georgia Devil", a nod to the classic country crossover "The Devil Went Down To Georgia". The other is "In America".
Michael's up to 40, the other's tied at 20 as the plates make way for some cards. Deej, take it from here, please.

D.J.: All right, Erik, Tony and Michael, behind these numbers are the Ace through 9 of each of the four suits. Each of you may take up to two consecutive turns at the video screen. On your first turn, you may select up to five numbers and we'll reveal the cards hidden behind the numbers.
If you like the hand you've made, take its value in points and pass control to another player. If you want to try to improve your hand, you may exchange some or all cards for new ones.

D.J.: Remember, you need something better than just one pair of Jacks to score any points at all -- or else you lose five points.
Doug: And remember, a natural royal flush in this or any other round means you win a bonus of CY$1,000,000.
Doug: Normally, we start with the player with the fewest points. However, there's a tie for last between Erik and Tony. Erik, since you're the designated champion, you'll start us off. Before you do, please tell us about yourself.
Erik: Well, Doug, I am Erik Mokracek, I am from Waretown, New Jersey. I enjoy video games, shopping, creating Yahoogroups -- and I am the president, CEO, owner and founder of my company called Classix.
Doug: Whole bunch of interests and pursuits. Best of luck in those. Pick five cards for me, please.
Erik: 6, 17, 2, 22, 10
Doug: Okie doke. Let's have a look at 'em.

Doug: Almost a straight. Got two Aces. Stopping here only gives you five more points. Might as well make exchanges.
Erik: I am going to keep the 2 aces and 10s and hope for a full house behind 7, Doug.
Doug: Uhhh -- hold everything. You only have one 10, one Queen one King and two Aces. I'll give you a second chance.
Erik: I'll keep the aces and try 18, 23 and 3.
Doug: OK, we can do that. Aces are retained and join -- what?

Doug: Now before you pick numbers, tell the folks something about yourself.
Tony: I had a 10 year career as a draftsman for a few defense contractors. I currently stay home to care for a sick parent; the other may at times be sick also. In my spare time -- which is quite a bit due to circumstances I won't get into again -- I enjoy playing games on my computer, visiting websites, and watching TV -- including watching/playing along with "Jeopardy!". Also, I've been a game show fan for most of my life.
Doug: Well, we're glad you're playing our game. Five numbers, please.
Tony: How about 5, 10, 15, 20, and 13 -- just to make a "checkmark" pattern like on "Sale of the Century"'s host podium. ;)
(a few laughs and claps from the crowd)
Doug: Well, we played a fame game of sorts in the first part of the round. Why not? Behind those numbers that make up the checkmark, what do we find?
