Welcome to Game 50 of Net Poker. Very few net games reach their 50th episode. With your help, I'm humbled we've reached this milestone.

Some notes are in order...

\ Our current champ, Andy Silikovitz, has three straight wins and winnings that total CY$154,200. If he wins this game, he plays for CY$1,000,000 *plus* the contents of the outlaw's jackpot in Deuces Wild Poker.

\ The joker's side pot normally would be reset to CY$10,000 since Andy won it the last time out. However, in celebration of our 50th main game, the side pot will be a non-progressive CY$50,000. (In layman's terms, the joker's side pot will have CY$10,000 regardless of what happens in this episode.)

\ With this being Game 50, if you played in the main game of our 47th, 48th or 49th episode, please sit on your hands and let someone else in on the fun.

Now to the qualifying question. The two players closest to the right answer, high or low, get to play against Andy.

On November 8, 2010, at 2:30pm Central, we watched a GSN rerun of "Lingo", hosted by Chuck Woolery. The winning team scored how many points in this episode? Please respond to the nearest multiple of 25 points.

(time passes)

And time's up. Let's see the right answer.

QUALIFYING ANSWER
275 POINTS

There ya go -- 275. Who's the closest?

Todd Davis 225
Michael Clifford 325
Eddie Timanus 325
Raymond Weaver 325

(Greed tie sfx)

Gadzooks! A four-way tie!!?!?!? Huh kay. Well, first, thanks to everyone else who entered in qualifying. We've got a *big* audience game later. As for you four, we break the ties by finding out who locked in first and second. So -- who was the first person to be off by 50?

Todd Davis 225
All right, it's Todd who will be Player 2. And who's Player 3?

Eddie Timanus 325

Fast Eddie. Michael, Raymond, again, we've got a big audience game later. Perhaps we'll see one of you there later.

Meantime, a big main game shortly.

Scarlett Gray: "Five Card Charlie" starring Charlie Sheen --
(audience laughs) -- will not be seen at this time. And it doesn't
take a Phi Beta Kappa member to figure out why. (more laughs)
So, in it's place, how about some 5-Card Poker on the 50th episode
of Net Poker -- coming up.

======================================================================

(smooth jazz theme plays) (zoom into one shot of champion)

Scarlett: This is our current champion, Andy Silikovitz. He has won three games and total of CY$154,200. If he wins tonight's game, he'll play for a bonus of CY$1,000,000. (fade to three shot of players)

Scarlett: Challenging him are Todd Davis and Eddie Timanus. Andy, Todd and Eddie, if any of you make a natural royal flush, you'll win CY$1,000,000 -- in the game of high hands and high rewards.

From CDM Enterprises, a division of Trax Productions, welcome to the 50th episode of Net Poker!

(audience cheers)

Scarlett: And now, here's the star of our show, Doug Morris!

(Doug walks out from behind the video poker screen)

Doug: Thank you, Scarlett. Helloooooo, everybody and welcome to Net Poker. Wow. This show has been around since 2003 -- and I can't thank ya'll enough for the tremendous support over the years.

(audience cheers)

Doug: We've got a lot of surprises planned for tonight. But first, let's say hello to our lovely dealer -- D.J. Hamilton.

(audience cheers)

(D.J. walks out wearing a black one-piece swimsuit, white tuxedo jacket and top hat -- similar to what she wore in Game 1)

D.J.: Hey, ya'll. This brought all of us luck back then -- so let's bring out this outfit again. :)

Doug: You never cease to amaze. What's our theme in Video Poker?

D.J.: In celebration of our 50th episode...

FIVE ABOUT FIFTY

D.J.: ...we're going to start out with five questions about the number 50. Each time you chime in and answer correctly, you earn 10 points. Buzz in with a wrong answer and we have to take 10 away. After five questions, we're off to the video screen for more points.

Doug: And as always we start each of you off with 10 points.
