Video Poker

(drum roll)

Doug: Welcome back on what may be the verge of Net Poker history. Robert, currently in second place, drew the cards you see on his first turn as well as the Ace of Diamonds that was at #1 -- which he promptly discarded for #7.

Doug: If it's the 10 of Hearts, Robert McBride wins 1000 points and CY$1,000,000. If it's the 10 of anything else, we'll have a tie for the lead ahead of the Poker Run. Anything else and he clinches second place all to himself.

Let's

(FF reveal sfx) (lots of loud groans from the crowd)

Doug: Oooooh! Right rank -- wrong suit. All right, before we go any further, where was that 10 of *Hearts*?

(FF reveal sfx) (more groans from the crowd)

Doug: Missed by one -- it was at number *six*. Well...

DEAN
MICHAEL
ROBERT

(ding)

Doug: Robert, you get credit for the straight. That's 20 points. Really, there's good news in this for everyone -- as everyone gets at least one head start letter in the Poker Run.

(motorcycle sfx)

Doug: Quick reminder, you're racing to collect the five letters in the word "POKER".

DEAN
MICHAEL
ROBERT

(ding)

Doug: Points have suddenly become letters. Michael and Robert, since you were tied for the lead at 60, you each receive two letters to start. Dean, you clinched second place by yourself -- entitling you to one free letter.

Remember, if you buzz in and pick a wrong answer, only your opponents tackle the next question. Hands back on the buzzers, please -- because the Poker Run starts -- NOW!

Doug: Robert, you get to pick a letter in the word "POKER". No million hidden -- but you could win up to CY$7500. Pick a letter, please.

Robert: Let's take that P.

Doug: All right, let's see what's behind the letter P.

Doug: Couple of grand.

(smooth jazz theme plays)

Doug: All right, Robert, we'll see you later for the Joker Poker round. Dean, Michael, you're going head's up in 5-Card Poker as we play The Numbers Game. Maybe Thievery Corporation will make a surprise appearance. We'll see after this.
