Doug: We're back with Net Poker and our bonus game with Alan. Here's how the first half of Deuces Wild Poker works.

Doug: We begin by trying to win Deuces courtesy of the video screen. We've hidden a total of ten outlaw cards behind these numbers. There's one outlaw on the top row, two on the second, three and the third and the bottom row holds four outlaws.
Alan, you're going to select one number from each row. Each time you avoid an outlaw, you win a Deuce for your poker hand. As the name of this game implies, Deuces are wild -- that means you can substitute the Deuces for anything when your poker hand is complete. The more Deuces you win, the better the chances you'll rack up CY$20,000.
However, we want you to avoid all the outlaws and win four Deuces. Do that and we'll forget about finishing off a poker hand because at that moment, you'll win everything in the outlaw's jackpot. Right now, it stands at CY$72,500!
Doug: Alan, whenever your ready, let's start picking numbers with one number from the top row.
Alan: 5
Doug: Number 5. Does he win the Deuce of Spades with that selection?

Doug: He does.

Doug: On to the next row. Two outlaws to bypass there. Avoid them and you win the Deuce of Hearts.
Alan: 10
Doug: 10 it is. Let's reveal that space.

Doug: That's two down and two to go.
|
Doug: On to the third row, now. Odds are 50-50 you'll run into an outlaw. But it's also 50-50 odds you'll win the Deuce of Clubs. Just don't reveal one of the three outlaws in the third row and you're on your way to the jackpot.
Alan: 15
Doug: I just realized. You're going in multiples of 5. Let's see if keeps you in the running for the jackpot. Does he win the Deuce of Clubs on the third row?

Doug: Three wild cards in hand. Last row. There are four outlaws to bypass. Only two numbers are good. Pick one of the two numbers that is *not* housing an outlaw and you are CY$72,500 richer. Good luck.

Doug: 21 and 22 were the magic numbers at the bottom. Well, Alan, let's try to put this behind us and go for 20-grand. During the break, you cut a deck of cards and D.J. is about to deal out the first cards face down.

Doug: And she's already done that. In a moment, you'll pick one of the two cards and we'll add it to your hand. This time, the card you decline gets discarded and then we'll play with the next pair from the top of the deck.

Doug: With three Deuces, the worst that could happen is you make four of a kind for CY$2000. But, if you manage a royal flush, its 20-grand. Good luck and let's pick a card.
Alan: left
Doug: Left card it is. Deej, let's get him off on the right foot toward 20-thou.

Doug: Well, no hope for a royal flush. But, five of a kind could be in your future.

Doug: There's the 9 with the wild cards and now, as D.J. sets up the last pair...

Doug: ...you got to hope one of them's another 9. Good luck.
Alan: right
Doug: The right card. D.J., I wanna give 10-grand or even five-thou for a straight flush. What'cha got for us?

D.J.: Ah, it's four of a kind. But CY$2000's nice.
Doug: Indeed it is. Let's go ahead, complete the hand and make it all official.

Doug: OK. There's two-grand. Now, we'll add that to your prior winnings for a total of CY$20,000.

Doug: Now, next game's important. Reach Joker Poker on the next episode and win that round, you'll collect CY$100,000 and that Jag because that will mean you've won three straight games. Also, make it again to Deuces Wild Poker and you'll play for the outlaw's jackpot which is now worth 75-grand.
