Audience Game Time for our first audience game of the episode. For this question, we ask our main game players to sit this one out -- as the rest of you play this. Closest to the right answer, high or low, gets to roll for a virtual trip to London for the Olympics.
On July 2, 2010 at 4:30pm Central, we watched a rerun of "Cash Cab" on Discovery Channel. In the three games played in this episode, passengers won a total of how much money? (To clarify, the values of the questions in this episode were $25 for each of the first four, $50 for each of the next four with $100 for each question thereafter. Any red light challenge was worth $250. So please respond in increments of $25.)
(time passes)
And that's time. The first game ended in a miss on the bonus question -- forfeiting the winnings. The next game ended in a strikeout -- also forfeiting the winnings. Was this a budget saving show?

Joseph Bohan $1025It's the colonel! Sharp shootin', there. He'll try to roll his way to the Olympics after this.

It's your chance to win big on Hot Dice.
(Joseph runs up to the dice table to meet Doug; they shake hands)
Doug: Thanks, Scarlett and welcome, Joseph, to Hot Dice. Just before the break, we noted we're going to try and give away a trip to the Olympics. You probably want to know more about it. Scarlett's about to clue you in.
Scarlett: It's a trip to the Olympics in London. (audience cheers) You and a guest will enjoy a three-week stay at a luxury hotel -- plus tickets to the marquee events of the Games of the XXX Olympiad in London. We're also adding CYŁ10,000 to spend on souvenirs -- making this amazing vacation worth CY$31,550.
Doug: Now, all that, collectively, is our bonus prize. That's what's you're playing for. Unfortunately, you're also playing for this.
Scarlett: A bronze medal from the 2008 Redneck Olympics.
Doug: That would be the *bogus* prize.

Doug: And the name of your game is Bonus or Bogus. Now here's how the game works.
![]()
Doug: You're going to be rolling this special Bonus or Bogus cube. The numbers 1, 2 and 3 have each been replaced with the word "BONUS" ...

Doug: ...the remaining numbers -- 4, 5 and 6 -- have each been replaced with the word "bogus".
To win the bonus prize of the trip to the Olympics, you must roll "BONUS" three times. However, if you roll "bogus" three times, it's the redneck Olympic medal from four years ago.
Game ends when you've rolled "BONUS" or "bogus" three times. When you're ready -- give it a roll.
Joseph: All righty, then.
(Joseph rolls)

(scattered applause)
