(audience applause) (bells ring)
Doug: And that's the midway point in the round. Michael has 750, Dean not far behind with 700 and Chris not far behind with 600. You can convert those hundreds into thousands with Five-Card Risk. D.J. shows us how.
D.J.: Ooooh, and is Harry mad because he randomly drew as this Five-Card Risk game...
D.J.: ...21 or Bust. Now this is a bit of a throwback to the old TBR if you remember it. During the break, Dirty Harry shuffled a deck of 54 cards -- including two Jokers -- and placed the first five cards of the deck accordingly behind the five numbered spaces.
In 21 or Bust, you're hoping the first few cards total 21. As in Blackjack, Aces are worth 1 or 11 and face cards count as 10. Along the way, if we reveal a card that boosts the count higher than 21, that's a bust. Also, if a Joker is revealed at anytime, that's an instant bust.
Otherwise, anytime we reveal a winning card, the payoff is 1-to-1. Before we reveal the next card, you have the option to freeze and protect your net gains or risk and try to double what you just doubled.
*And* there are extra incentives if we get to 21 without busting. If you risk and we make it to 21 without busting, you'll win 32 times your original wager -- even if all five cards haven't been revealed. *Plus* if the first two cards add up to 21, the payoff is 64 times your original wager.
Doug: Now you know why Harry hates this game. Golden opportunity to win a lot of moolah -- but you've got to take risks in order to be eligible for the rewards.
Minimum bet is CY$100, max is "all in", bet in multiples of CY$50. Good luck and place your bets.
MICHAEL
CY$750CHRIS

Doug: Huh? Oh, Dean, a little bit of bad news. Our scoreboard malfunctioned and credited you with too much cyber-money. You actually have 600. So, based on the scores of Michael with 750 and the others tied at 600, place your bets.
(players lock in bets)

CY$600Doug: And -- WOW! People who like 21 or Bust *really* like 21 or Bust. Well, if the first card's a Joker, Harry's going to be grinning from ear to ear. Otherwise, all the scores double. Let's reveal the first card.
