(audience cheers)

Doug: We're a *little* pressed for time -- so we'll go ahead and dive right into the game.

Doug: Andy, you'll start us off. Pick a letter in "True" to determine the value of each question you'll play -- and pick a letter in "False" to determine how many questions you'll tackle.

Andy: The "U" and the "A."

Doug: All right. We'll reveal those letters simultaneously.

(ding)

Doug: CY$200 and two questions.

True or false: The highest denomination of money printed in the U.S. is currently the $1,000 bill.

Andy: False

Doug: Currently the $100 bill.

True or false: There's a Chickentown in Kentucky.

Andy: True?

Doug: 'Fraid that's false. There's a Chicken Bristle, Kentucky; Chicken Bristle, Illinois; Chicken, Alaska -- and Chickentown, Pennsylvania.

Doug: Of course, you can always count on strange names for towns in Pennsylvania. (light laughter from the crowd) Got one right to bump your score up to CY$450. Now to John, who's looking to reclaim the championship. A letter from "True" and a letter from "False", please.

John: The T from True and the L from False.

Doug: Let's have a look.

(ding)

Doug: At CY$250 a pop, you'll play these three questions.

True or false: New Haven is the capital of Connecticut.

John: False

Doug: It's Hartford.

True or false: The first city to have a Ghetto is New York City.

John: True

Doug: No, first city with a Ghetto is Venice, Italy.

True or false: The Mariana Islands are in the Caribbean.

John: False

Doug: In the Pacific. Two out of three ain't bad.

(audience applause)

Doug: John takes the lead -- but there's big money to be had and Matt's got the control.

Matt: U and L.

Doug: I'm -- gonna save my Rick Pitino joke for a rainy day. (light laughter from the crowd and crew) Just reveal the letters.

Doug: Oh, wait, they're already gone. Try again.

Matt: Let's go with the E's

Doug: That's more like it.

(ding)

Doug: Well, we know where the 500 is on the top row. But, Matt, if you get at least two right, you'll have the lead going into Dice Risk.

True or false: Consuming beer in a restroom is forbidden in the Canadian province of Manitoba.

Matt: True

Doug: So *that's* why Fred Scott canceled his trip to Winnipeg. (more laughter from the crowd and crew) Anyway, that's right.

True or false: The Solex is the latest model from Rolex.

Matt: True

Doug: No, Solex was a manufacturer of powered bicycles. Still a chance to take the lead.

True or false: The plenum is part of the human stomach.

Matt: False

Doug: That's right for the lead. Last one to pad it.

True or false: The Versace product called Metal Jeans is a fragrance.

Matt: True.

Doug: Three out of four.

ANDY
CY$450

JOHN
CY$750

MATT
CY$1,150

(audience applause)

Doug: And with that, Matt's at 1150, John with 750 and Andy with 450. Deej will guide us through Dice Risk.

D.J.: OK. Andy, pick a number to determine Harry's point, please.

Andy: Let's go with a menage a -- 3.

(light laughter from the crowd)

D.J.: Thanks for bringing back a bad memory. (more laughter) Behind 3...

(ding)

D.J.: ...is a 4. Now players, it's up to you to determine whether or not he'll make his point of 4 in seven rolls of the dice.

If you think he'll roll a 4, bet on "PASS". If you think he'll fail and roll a 7 before rolling a 4, bet on "DON'T PASS". Correct wagers pay at 1-to-1, incorrect bets result in a net loss of the wagers and all bets result in pushes if Harry doesn't roll a 7 or 4 in seven rolls.

Doug: All right, gents, bets have to be in multiples of CY$50 and you have to bet at least CY$250. So for the first time *this* game -- place your bets.

(think music plays)

ANDY
CY$00

DON'T PASS
CY$450
JOHN
CY$450

DON'T PASS
CY$300
MATT
CY$300

DON'T PASS
CY$850

Doug: And we're all set. Everyone's a pessimist. Andy's betting the farm. John's betting about half -- 300. Matt's wagering 850.

D.J.: OK, the point is 4 and they don't think you can make it. Roll 'em.

(DH reluctantly rolls)

D.J.: And we start with a 6. Close to a loss for Harry.

(bells ring) (audience groans)

D.J.: And Harry beats the odds and makes his point. Sorry, fellas.

Doug: What a revolting development.

(DH grins)

("A Little Less Conversation" plays)

Doug: Well, good news for John is because his was the most conservative bet, he currently enjoys the lead. But the hundreds you see now could become tens of thousands in Five-Card Risk. Find out how when TBR comes back.
