Doug: Behind the letters in "TRUE", we have different cyber-money amounts from CY$200 to CY$500. Behind the letters in "FALSE", the numbers 1-5 with no duplicates. Pick a letter from each row -- and that determines how much each question is worth and how many questions you get to play.
Brian, we start with you. Pick two letters, please.
Brian: I will take the R in True and the S in False.
Doug: OK, let's check the R first.

Doug: ...two questions. Possible CY$400 addition to your score. Here come your questions...
True or false: Dolly Parton once lost a Dolly Parton look-a-like contest.
Brian: True
Doug: Much to her chagrin, that's right.
True or false: Charlie Chaplin once lost a Charlie Chaplin look-a-like contest.
Brian: Definitely true.
Doug: Much to *his* chagrin, he placed third in Monte Carlo. You're up to 650.

Michael: I'm going to go with the third letters in each word: the U and the L.
Doug: U and L. First the U is worth...

Doug: Ian, these three questions are for you -- and they're worth CY$300 each.
True or false: George Washington once grew marijuana in his garden.
Ian: False
Doug: No, 'fraid that's true. Next question.
True or false: A gooseberry is a type of fruit.
Ian: True
Doug: That's right. One more.
True or false: Brad Pitt was born in California.
Ian: False
Doug: Oklahoma. Got two right for CY$600 more.

Doug: OK, we have some close scores. Ian leading with 850, Brian with 650 and Michael with 500. We're about to roll some dice. Deej reminds us how to play Dice Risk.
D.J.: Thanks, Doug. First, we turn to Brian. Please pick a number to determine the dealer's point.
Brian: I will pick...5
Doug: He said 5! (light laughter from the crowd) See, this is where we made the mistake.
D.J.: Behind #5...
D.J.: ...it's an 8. That's our point for the dealer -- Dirty Harry.
(audience boos as Dirty Harry enters studio)
Doug: Yeah, Harry resolved to be kinder and gentler to people this year. Let's see how soon he breaks that resolution.
(audience laughs) (DH gives Doug a dirty look)
D.J.: In any event, Harry's going to roll a pair of dice a maximum of seven times. He'll keep rolling until he matches the point, fails by rolling a 7 before rolling an 8 -- or rolls seven times.
But before he rolls, you have to predict whether he'll succeed or fail in making the point. If you do think he'll match the point, bet on "PASS". If you think he'll fail and roll a 7 without rolling an 8, bet on "DON'T PASS". Correct wagers pay off at 1-to-1, wrong predictions deduct the original wager from your score -- and if he doesn't roll an 8 or 7 after seven rolls, all bets result in a push.
Doug: In this round, the minimum bet is CY$250. You may take the big risk voluntarily and bet "all in". You must wager in CY$50 increments. So, for the first time in '09, place your bets.
Doug: BTW, that new think music has a nice beat and you can dance to it. (light laughter from the crowd) Let's see what everyone ventured.
