======================================================================Rich Jeffries: "The O'Hurley Factor" (audience laughs) will not be seen at this time -- so that we may bring you this feud to the finish. ======================================================================
Rich: From CDM Enterprises, a division of Trax Productions, welcome to the game where you could win a million -- or lose your shirt. It's time to take -- The Big Risk.
Rich: And now, here's the star of our show, Doug Morris!
(Doug walks from behind The Big Risk board)
Doug: Thanks, Rich -- and hellooooooooooo, everybody. Happy New Year -- and welcome to the first TBR episode of 2009. We have some great things in store -- including a chance for one of our players to win CY$1,000,000.
Doug: That's right, we now allow for a champion to win up to four consecutive games. So if a player manages to string together four wins -- or achieves a blitz in Five-Card Risk and later wins the game in which he or she blitzed -- that player will be going for the golden payoff which will increase from CY$250,000 to CY$1,000,000.
Doug: Our co-hostess, D.J. Hamilton, is already over with the players -- and we have some familiar faces on the panel, tonight.
BRIAN
CY$30,500
MICHAEL
CY$250
IAN
CY$7,650
D.J.: Indeed. But first, let me wish a Happy '09 to everyone. Our champion with one win and CY$30,500 is Brian Henegar. (audience applause) And our two returning challengers are Michael Clifford and Ian Laudato. They're back because of a mistake we made that could've put them at a disvantage. In their previous appearances, Michael won CY$250 and Ian took home a cool CY$7650.
Doug: Thanks, Deej. We'll see you later for the risks. Brian, Michael and Ian, welcome back. Let's start each of you off with a fresh CY$250.
