Doug: And welcome back to The Big Risk. All three of our players collected extra cyber-money at Five-Card Risk. Some fared better than others. Let's give each player CY$750 more to play with.

Doug: This is the round where we put four categories on the True or False board. Each category has four questions. Each question in this round is worth CY$750.
That means each of you can earn CY$3000 more before we play that crucial Final Risk. Let's see our Round 3 categories.
FOOD, GLORIOUS FOOD POTUS NICKNAMES WORLD OF DISNEY CARS Doug: We have Food, Glorious Food; POTUS Nicknames; World of Disney and Cars. A few notes are in order. "POTUS" is short for "President of the United States" -- meaning we'll be dealing with nicknames of said Presidents.
The others are self-explanatory -- and please try not to read any tea leaves given the positioning of World of Disney and Cars. The last category deals with automobiles in general -- not the Pixar movie.
Now that we have all that straight, Lori, please pick a category.
Lori: Food, Glorious Food.
POTUS NICKNAMES WORLD OF DISNEY CARS Doug: Food it is. Here come some tasty questions.
True or false: Lobsters can live to be one century old.
Lori: True
Doug: As long as they don't end up being your dinner, that's true.
True or false: When Swanson introduced the first TV dinner in 1953, the entrée was chicken.
Lori: True
Doug: No, it was turkey.
True or false: The most popular topping for Domino's Pizza in Japan is squid.
Lori: True
Doug: That's right. Last one.
True or false: Ozzy Osbourne's favorite food is cottage cheese.
Lori: True
Doug: Right again. Three out of four.

Doug: *Just* shy of second place for now. Remember, the top two players at the end of the Final Risk move on. Matt, three categories are left. Which would you like?
Matt: I will choose World Of Disney.
POTUS NICKNAMES CARS Doug: Let's see if it's a small world after all.
True or false: The Hall of Presidents can be found at Walt Disney World.
Matt: True.
Doug: Been there, done that, I know that's true.
True or false: Mickey Mouse's two nephews are named Martin and Fred.
Matt: I think that is False.
Doug: Morty and Ferdie. Two for two.
True or false: At Disneyland, a basketball court exists inside the top of The Matterhorn.
Matt: False?
Doug: At one point in time, that statement was true. We've since learned the basketball court no longer exists. This makes your answer of "false" correct. Last one for a sweep.
True or false: Mickey Mouse was the first non-human to win an Oscar.
Matt: I don't know....True?
Doug: Good guess. CY$3000 more for you!

Doug: Matt leads by CY$500 -- but Brian has yet to have an at-bat this round. Brian, would you like POTUS Nicknames or Cars?
Brian: I was hoping for the Disney category, but I guess I'll take Cars.
Doug: Cars it is. The Presidential nicknames go to The Big Risk round. One right answer will give you back the lead going into Final Risk, Brian. Here come your questions.
True or false: Fiat cars are made in Italy.
Brian: I will say True.
Doug: See, you're back in the lead already. That's right.
True or false: Chrysler is named after a constellation.
Brian: I will say false.
Doug: Named for a man.
True or false: Dale Earnhardt, Sr., drove a Ford Taurus in his NASCAR career.
Brian: That is False.
Doug: He was born under sign of Taurus -- but drove a Chevy Monte Carlo. Last one.
True or false: Ricardo Montalban was a spokesman for the Toyota Corolla.
Brian: And that is false. He advertyised the Chrysler Cordoba -- with the riiiiiiiiich Corinthian leather.
Doug: You're all over it and right.
MATT

Doug: As we get ready for the all important Final Risk, Brian's leading with 9750, Matt's in second with 7250 and Lori's in third with an even 4000.
Let's go to Deej where we have another dicey situation on tap, I believe.
D.J.: You believe correctly, Doug. We're back at the dice table where Dirty Harry will be rolling three dice cubes. Before he does, you'll pick a number between 1 and 6 inclusive -- and then place a wager in the hope Harry rolls your selected number at least once.
D.J.: If your selected number comes up once, the payoff is 1-to-1. If your selected number appears twice in Harry's roll, the payoff is 2-to-1. But if Harry rolls three of a kind and all three dice match your number, the payoff is 3-to-1. But keep in mind if you don't match any of the dice, we deduct the amount of your wager from your score.
Doug: All right. Minimum bet in the round is CY$750. The max is "all in". You still have to wager in CY$50 increments. Remember, the player in last place will be eliminated while the others go to The Big Risk round. So good luck, decide carefully and place your bets.

CY$3,000Doug: And we're all set. Matt and Lori must've realized we're in Brett Favre country as they bet on the number 4. Matt wagered CY$2000 and Lori bet CY$3000. Brian bet CY$3250 on the number 5.
I can tell you right now -- if Harry rolls at least one 4 and no 5s, Brian will fall to third place. That's why we say there's no such thing as a safe lead on The Big Risk.
Let's not waste any more time and find out who advances to The Big Risk round.

(winning bells; audience applause)
Doug: Stand by as we get the cards ready for that important round. Of course, it's really important for Matt as the forthcoming round will determine whether or not he clinches a berth in the Mega Playoff. Brian will try to stop his winning ways.
Lori, as for you, we have to say goodbye. You certainly were wise to bet big. You had to hope a 4 would come up -- and it never did. You are leaving us with CY$1000 -- and we have more prizes backstage. Continued good luck in your teaching career and thanks for playing TBR with us. Lori Burstein, everyone.
(audience cheers) ("A Little Less Conversation" plays)
Doug: When we come back, the stakes get even higher and one or both of these players could be forced to go all in and take The Big Risk. Find out who wins our game -- right after this.
