Doug: We're starting each of you off with CY$250 -- again, straight from Harry's pocket. (light laughter from the crowd) Now, we give *each* of you a chance to collect more loot with the help of our new True or False Board.

Doug: And there it is. Behind the letters in the word "TRUE", we have four different amounts of cyber-money -- from CY$200 to CY$500. Behind the letters in the word "FALSE", we have the numbers 1 through 5 with no repeats.
In a moment, *each* of you will choose two letters -- one from "TRUE" and one from "FALSE". Those selections will determine how many true/false questions you get to play -- and how much each question is worth. If you can do well with the questions and pick the right letters, you can earn an additional CY$2500. (audience applause) And then perhaps double up the score with Dice Risk.
That's later. Right now, John, you're Player 1. Before we turn you loose, tell us a little about yourself.
John: Hi Doug my name is John Coday Hines I'm 14 and I'll be 15 in less in a month, this my sixth netgame to be in and the reason I'm here is because I need cash for college.
Doug: Well good luck in your studies -- and good luck here in the game. Pick two letters now, please -- one from the word "TRUE" and one from "FALSE".
John: I'll take the e from true and the a from false.
Doug: OK, first let's see what's behind the "E" in "TRUE".

Doug: Just a 2. OK, two questions at CY$500 each could mean CY$1000. Here come the questions...
True or false: The dolphin is the fastest fish in the sea.
John: True
Doug: No, it's the swordfish. Next question -- another shot at 500.
True or false: The Statue of Liberty was dedicated after World War I.
John: False
Doug: Dedicated in 1886. You got CY$500 more.

Doug: Total of CY$750 to take to Dice Risk. Stand by for that. Now, it's over to Todd. First, let's find out a little about you.
Todd: My name is Todd Davis. I am from Tampa Florida. I currently go to the University of South Florida majoring in geography and I referee soccer.
Doug: All right, good luck in your studies and here on TBR. Pick a couple of letters for me.
Todd: T and S
Doug: OK, let's see the T first.

Doug: ...hey there, five questions. Chance to add CY$1500 to your score.
True or false: Mark Twain dropped out of school when he was 12.
(time passes) (buzz buzz)
Doug: Time's up. Answer's true. Next question.
True or false: The Victorian Era occurred in the 1700s.
(time passes) (buzz buzz)
Doug: Answer's false -- the 1800s.
True or false: The first train reached a top speed of 25 miles an hour.
(time passes) (buzz buzz)
Doug: False -- 5 mph.
True or false: During prohibition, many breweries turned to making ice cream.
(time passes) (buzz buzz)
Doug: That's true. Last question.
True or false: Americans buy 5,000,000 items a day with Mickey Mouse's likeness.
(time passes) (buzz buzz)
Doug: Oh, that was true, too. Well, missed out on those questions -- but it's early yet, Todd. Lot of game left. It's over to Marc now.
(time passes) (buzz buzz)
Doug: OK, no decisions in time on the letters. What we do is reveal the lowest amount in the top row and lowest number in the bottom row.

Doug: So that means Marc plays just one CY$200 true/false question.
True or false: Milwaukee's current NBA team is known as the Braves.
Marc: False--the Bucks.
Doug: Right on all counts.

Doug: All right, time for the next half of the round. Deej, where do we go from here?
D.J.: To the Dice Risk board. Behind these numbered spaces, we have cards between a 4 and a 10 with no duplicates and without a 7. John, please pick a space to determine the dealer's point.
John: Let's go with 3.
D.J.: And behind #3, we find...
D.J.: ...a 6.
Doug: And now, ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, all creatures great and small, here he is, the man, the myth, the legend, DIRTY HARRY!
(Dirty Harry walks out wearing his trademark blackjack dealer uniform to an extremely loud chorus of boos; DH sneers)
Doug: They missed you, Harry, they really did.
D.J.: Now, here's what's going to happen. In a moment, Harry is going to roll a standard pair of dice a maximum of seven times. He'll stop the moment he matches his point of 6, fails by rolling a 7 or he reaches the maximum amount of rolls.
Before he rolls, it's up to you if you think he'll succeed in this task. If you think he'll make his point of 6, you'll want to place a bet on "PASS". If you think he'll fail by rolling a 7, bet on "DON'T PASS".
All correct wagers pay off at 1-to-1, losing predictions result in a net loss of the original wager -- and if Harry doesn't roll a 6 or 7 after seven rolls, all bets result in a push.
Doug: OK, minimum bet in this round is CY$250. You may bet "all in" -- and you have to wager in increments of CY$50. And, Todd, since you only have CY$250...

D.J.: All right, Harry, first rolls of the season. I bet you can't wait.
(DH has this "Are you kidding?" look on his face) (light laughter from the crowd)
D.J.: Uh, anyway, they're ready when you are.
