(Brian buzzes in)

Doug: The Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Cardinals played a seven-game series with the Royals coming back from a three games-to-one deficit to win the whole shebang. OK, we're at the midpoint in the round. Eddie has 900, Matt is in second with 500, Brian's still in third with 300. But anything can happen in our Five-Card Risk. Deej, tell us all about it.

(ding)

D.J.: OK, Doug. We've just revealed the theme for this Five-Card Risk -- it's Hi-Lo. That means winning cards are ranked higher than a 9 and lower than a 7. During the break, Dirty Harry shuffled a 54-card deck, with two Jokers, and placed the first five cards behind the five numbered spaces accordingly.

Players, in a moment, you'll place a wager on the first card. As longas it's not a 7, 8, 9 or Joker, you'll win the bet at a 1-to-1 payoff. If it's a winner, you'll decide whether you want to freeze and keep your net gains or risk and try and double what you just doubled on the next card.

The moment a losing card is revealed, the round's over and, if you put cyber-money at risk, all of your net gains are wiped out; you'll then post a net loss of the original wager.

Doug: Minimum bet in this round is now CY$100, the max is "all in" and you still have to wager in multiples of 50. To recap, Eddie has the lead with 900, Matt is in second with 500, Brian has 300. Place your bets.
