Doug: Thank you, Deej. We'll see you later with the risks. Welcome aboard, players. We've started each of you off with CY$50.
In each of the first three rounds of The Big Risk, I'll ask a series of questions. In this round, you'll earn CY$50 more for each time you chime in with the right answer. Be careful; if you buzz in and give a wrong answer, each of your opponents automatically score CY$50.
After the Q&A period, you'll have a chance to at least double your score on a game of chance. After the third round, the two highest scorers will advance to our Lucky 7 Playoff. The high person on the totem poll at the end of the playoff wins the game and will later take on The Big Risk round for CY$100,000, a new car and a chance to play for CY$250,000 later this season.
OK, good luck and here we go...

Doug: And that indeed was the last question in the round. Erskine has the lead with 250, Eddie is in second with 150 and Jay has 100. And we have D.J. with details on the Dice Risk.
D.J.: Thanks, Doug. Behind the six numbered spaces on the board, we have the cards 4 through 10 with no duplicates and no 7. Erskine, since you're the champion, you get to pick a number off the board and determine our dealer's point.
Erskine: 3 - one for each of my kids.
D.J.: Let's see if your children bring you good luck.
D.J.: You've revealed a 6. So that's our point for our dealer. Please give a warm TBR welcome for Dirty Harry!
(Dirty Harry enters to his usual chorus of boos)
Doug: (to audience) Next time, with more feeling. OK?
(audience laughs) (DH gives a dirty look) (more laughs)
D.J.: Players, here's how Dice Risk is played. In a moment, you'll place a wager as to whether or not you think Harry will roll a 6 in seven chances without rolling a 7.
If you think Harry will make his point of 6, you want to bet on "PASS". If you think he'll fail and roll a 7 before making the point, bet on "DON'T PASS". Correct predictions pay off at 1-to-1, wrong predictions deduct the amount of the original wager from your score and if Harry doesn't roll a 6 or 7 after seven rolls, all bets result in a push.
Doug: Players, in this round, the minimum bet is CY$50 and the maximum bet is "all in". You must bet in CY$50 increments. To recap, Erskine has 250, Eddie has 150 and Jay 100. Good luck and place your bets.

CY$50Doug: OK, no bet in time from Erskine. What this means is his bet is automatically all in. (pulls out quarter) Also, a coin toss will determine if he bets on "PASS" or "DON'T PASS". I'll flip the coin and let it land on the floor. If it's heads, he bets on "PASS", tails its "DON'T PASS".
(Doug flips coin -- which comes up tails)
Doug: And it's tails.
