Numero cinco. It's time for the fifth episode of The All-New Big Risk.

Robert McBride won CY$5425 and is defending his championship for the first time. And we're looking for two challengers. The two folks closest to the answer to this query, high or low, get to challenge Robert. And away we go...

In dollars and cents, how much money does an average American bank teller "lose" from his or her drawer per month?

(time passes)

Well, let's see what the typical weakest link failed to bank...

(ding)

...woah! Twenty bucks and 40 cents?

(someone screams from off stage "THAT'S TOO MUCH!")

That is too much. Well, let's see who's the closest.

Chris Schumacher $5.23

Off by $15.00 and change, it's Chris. Given the question's focus, I'm kinda glad you went low there. Next closest is...

Dustin Riley $3.50

...Dustin. Guessed even lower at three and a half. For everyone else, don't forget, Net Poker had to extend qualifying in deference to the champ who right about now should begin his vacation. To see the qualifying round at Poker, www.dougmorris.net/poker and click on the qualifying link. Meantime, TBR rides again in a bit.

D.J. Hamilton: "I Want To Be Bob Hilton" (audience laughs) will not be
seen at this time. Instead, we want to take the big risk!

(various scenes of gaming tables, roulette wheels and playing cards appear in a fast-paced montage, a la the UK version of Gambit, as "A Little Less Conversation" plays)

The Ghost of Jay Stewart: From Studio 63, it's time for a test of knowledge and a test of luck. Welcome to the game where tens of thousands of cyber-dollars can be won or lost on the turn of a card. This is The Big Risk. (audience applause) And now, here's the star of our show, Doug Morris!

(Doug walks from behind The Big Risk board)

Doug: And thank you, ghost of Jay Stewart. Helloooooooo, everybody and welcome to The Big Risk. We crowned a new champion on the last show. He won the crown after a tie-breaker -- but unfortunately lost ten-grand in The Big Risk round. He wants to get back there and win big -- and so do his opponents. Here to introduce them all is our co-hostess, D.J. Hamilton.

(audience cheers) (D.J. walks out wearing a dark green strapless dress)

D.J.: Hi, everyone. Doug's got the questions, I've got the games of chance and we've got tons of loot at stake. Here to try and take it from us is Player 1, Robert McBride, our one-time champion with CY$5425; Player 2, Chris Schumacher and Player 3, Dustin Riley. .

Doug: Thanks, D.J. Indeed we'll see you later for our first game of chance. We'll play a little Dice Risk later. But first, let's start the proceedings off with CY$50 for each of you.
