MG Round 3 Question A

Doug: (grabs A; walks to panel) And four people play.

Doug: Brendan and everyone on the bottom row.

Confused Carl is *SO* confused...

Everyone else in unison: HOW CONFUSED IS HE?!?!!?

Doug: ...when he went to the M*A*S*H Bash, he looked like something out
of "Star Trek". In other words, he didn't look like Corporal Klinger.
He looked like Corporal << BLANK >>.

(audience laughs) (think music plays)

Doug: All right, Tony, they're all set. Three matches ties, four
matches mean a perfect score and a win.

Confused Carl is *SO* confused, when he went to the M*A*S*H Bash, he
looked like something out of "Star Trek". In other words, he didn't
look like Corporal Klinger. He looked like Corporal << BLANK >>.

Tony: It has to be Corporal "Klingon".

(audience cheers)

Doug: That's the answer. Now you have to hope for at least three
klingons. Brendan, we start with you.

Brendan: I've been told that apparently there was a Corporal Chang
on Star Trek...so (card) Chang.

(audience groans) (buzz)

Doug: As I recall, Chang was in "Enterprise" -- the prequel. Gotta
match everyone else to stay in business. Ryan?

Ryan: (card)

(ding; audience applause)

Doug: There's a klingon. Up to 300. Jay?

Jay: I have to go with Corporal [Klingon]!

(ding; audience applause)

Doug: That's 400. Now it's up to Tammy.

If

Tammy

wrote

down

"klingon",

we

are

playing

a

tie-

breaker.

Otherwise,

David

advances

to

Hollywood

Squares.

Tammy,

what

did

you

write

down?

Tammy: You happen to be addressing one who is more into "Space Patrol"
than "Star Trek". All I can recall is (card) [Data].

(audience groans) (buzz)

Doug: Not a match and David wins it.

(dings; MG-HSH win music plays; audience applause)

(players shake hands) (MG-HSH variant theme plays)

CHANG | (match in R2) | (match in R2)

Tony's response: KLINGON

Doug: David, please join me over here -- and take your spot on this
blue dot. Tony, we sure hope you had a lot of fun. Backstage,
we have fine gifts and our thanks for playing. Tony Peters, everyone.
