Hello, everybody. Welcome to the first Net Match Game - Hollywood
Squares Hour of 2013. This marks 50 episodes since we rebooted the
series and also the 15th anniversary of NMG-HSH. Your support's
kept us going.
Before we commence, some notes...

\ We've had a champion retire undefeated. So we're seeking three
players. The closest to the right answer in qualifying will be
our designated champion and play the X's in Hollywood Squares. The
next two closest play Match Game with the second closest overall in
qualifying picking first in MG's Round 1.

\ Since this is Game 50, if you played as a civilian in Game 47, 48
or 49, please sit on your hands and let someone else play. Can't
remember when you played? Just go to www.nmghsh.cjb.net or
www.dougmorris.net/nmghsh and click on "Archives".

\ Joining the usual suspects are Tammy Warner and three hosts of
recently started games -- Net Let's Ask America's Jay Cross,
Net Greed's Brendan O'Keefe and Net Super Password's Raymond Weaver.

Now on to qualifying. Here's the question.

On June 12, 2011, at 10:00am Central, we watched a GSN rerun of
"The Newlywed Game". The three couples combined to score how many
points? Please respond in increments of five points.

(time passes)

This may have been "The Newlywed Game" -- but there wasn't a lot of
scoring going on. In terms of points, that is!

(ding)

Yup -- only 25 points between the couples. The first and third couples
tied at 10 with the other only scoring 5. FWIW, the tie-breaker won
by couple #3 with a prediction of 40; #1 predicted 55.

As noted earlier, the closest in this round of qualifying goes straight
to Squares. Who dat?

John Menjes 55

It's John. You'll play the X's in Hollywood Squares and play the winner
of Match Game. Now the next closest picks first in Match Game's Round
1. Who dat?

Tony Peters 80

Hey, a first-timer. Welcome Tony. You'll play against...

David Hammond 85

...David Hammond -- a first time civilian player. Thanks to all for
playing.

Doug: Thanks, Glenn Bowman. Helloooooooo, everybody and welcome
back to the Net Match Game - Hollywood Squares Hour. Hello, stars.

Ryan: And hello to you at home. Evan Hatfield is in the clubhouse
as he retired undefeated on the last show. We're looking for two
more champions each to win at least CY$100,000, win three straight
games of Hollywood Squares or both.

Doug: Before that, we start with Match Game. Joining you and Chad are
the lovely Tammy Warner and hosts of three new shows on our schedule,
Brendan O'Keefe of Net Greed, Raymond Weaver of Net Super Password and
Jay Cross of Net Let's Ask America.

Let's ask all of you to join us in our 15th year of NMG-HSH. (audience
cheers) Let the games begin!

(more cheers) (Ryan and Doug shake hands) (Ryan sits in the Morris
chair on the panel) (Doug walks over to the Match Game desks)

Doug: And keep applauding for our Match Game players, Tony Peters and
David Hammond.

(more cheers)

Doug: We'll chat later. But let's start Match Game. As you know,
the objective here to match as many...

Doug: ...of these anniversary party animals as you possibly can.

(audience laughs)

Doug: Each time you match a star, you earn CY$100. If you max out
and match everyone, we'll elevate your score to CY$1000. High scorer
after three rounds advances to Hollywood Squares to face our designated
champion. The high scorer there plays the Super Match -- which could
lead to a payoff of CY$100,000.
