MG Round 2 Question A

Doug: (grabs A; walks to panel) Once again, everyone in the gallery
plays.

Walter the White House correspondent for VBS News said, "There are
interesting developments to report from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
In the Oval Office, President Obama has a dartboard -- with a
picture of << BLANK >> in the center."

(audience laughs) (think music plays)

Joe: Are you sure this isn't a first-round question, Uncle Dougie?

Doug (still in Walter character): I'm absolutely certain.

Doug: All right. They're all ready. Question again, Raymond.

Walter the White House correspondent for VBS News said, "There are
interesting developments to report from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
In the Oval Office, President Obama has a dartboard -- with a
picture of << BLANK >> in the center."

Raymond: Romney.

(audience cheers)

Doug: Ohh kay. Well -- that's a great answer, first of all.
Let's start comparing answers and then I might have to ask the
judge about something. Joe, whose picture did you think was
in the center of President Obama's dartboard?

Joe: President Obama, I'm sure, has a long list of people
whose picture he'd throw darts at, but the one I think he'd most
 likely throw darts at is...

|MITT |
|ROMNEY |
+--------+

(ding; audience applause)

Doug: OK, we have our first match in the game. Now, considering
Raymond just say "Romney", I doubt any other member of the Romney
family would come into this discussion. But, judge, if anyone
else wrote down Mrs. Romney's name or the name of any of their
kids, what's the result?

(buzz)

Doug: Thought so. I doubt we'll have a recreation of the school
riot -- but never hurts to check. Chad, over to you.

Chad: Gotta be...

[MITT ROMNEY]

(ding; audience applause)

Doug: And that's gotta be CY$200 for Raymond. Tammy, do you make
it CY$300?

Tammy: Plenty of choices, but my gut instinct says, [MITT ROMNEY]

(ding; audience applause)

Doug: And three matches so far. Walter the White House correspondent
for VBS News said, "There are interesting developments to report
from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. In the Oval Office, President Obama
has a dartboard -- with a picture of << BLANK >> in the center."
Ryan, did you think of the former Massachusetts governor?

Ryan: (card)

+=============+
| Mitt Romney |

(ding; audience applause)

Doug: Got it. Dean?

Dean: (card)

  +--------+
  | MITT |
  | ROMNEY |
  +--------+

(ding; audience applause)

Doug: David, let's cut to the chase. If you wrote down "Mitt
Romney" or just "Romney", Raymond's score goes up to CY$1000.

David: That dartboard is going to get a lot of use between now
and November, cause Obama is throwing darts at.....

+-------------+
| MITT ROMNEY |
+-------------+

(ding) (audience cheers)

Doug: And that's a max out for Raymond.

MITT ROMNEY | MITT ROMNEY | MITT ROMNEY
MITT ROMNEY | MITT ROMNEY | MITT ROMNEY

Raymond's response: ROMNEY

Doug: Two rounds are in the books, Raymond's in the clubhouse with
a grand. Evan, one chance to max out. Others have maxed out on
question. Who's to say you can't?

Come back and see if Evan can send this to a tie or if we're sending
Raymond to the squares -- after this.

(audience applause; MG-HSH music plays)
