(MG-HSH "super match intro" music plays)

Glenn: And now, here to play the Super Match is Doug Morris!

(audience cheers)

Doug: Thanks, Glenn. Before we actually play the Super Match, we have
a sad announcement to make. Tom Sabbatelli is leaving us after this
show... (audience groans) ...to pursue other interests. So I want to
give Tom a chance to share some parting thoughts.

Tom: You know, I was thinking before the show that this is a fitting
farewell, because I sat in this same spot in 1998 during my first game,
the original 'Net Hollywood Squares with Chris Colbourne.

And here we are 14 years later. Hard to believe. I just want to thank
everyone for their loyalty and friendship over the years and extend a
hearty "thank you" to Doug and Ryan for allowing me to be part of the
success that is NMG-HSH. It's been a blast.

(audience cheers)

Doug: Tom, we thank you for your contributions over the years --
including Net Fast & First as well as Net Reverse Taboo. On a bit
of a personal note, we all know you're a graduate of Penn State.
The less said about what's going on the better. Let us just simply
say we wish the Penn State community brighter days ahead.

And Tom, we wish you much luck in your future endeavors, may God
bless you and the loved ones you treasure -- and by all means when
you're in the neighborhood, come back and see us.

(audience cheers)

Doug: Now to business. Rick, congratulations on the come-from-behind
win. Even though Tom's leaving us, he's still available to help in
either or both halves of the Super Match. Let's begin with the
the first half -- the Audience Match.

_____SOLO

(ding)

Doug: This Is << BLANK >>. If you match the #1 answer in the
survey, you pocket $2000 and move a step closer to the hundred-grand.
The second most popular answer pays CY$1000 and the third most popular
CY$500.

If you come up with an answer that ranks outside the top three, you
get a consolation prize of CY$250.

Doug: Rick, as you know, you may pick three stars for an assist.

Rick: Tom Sabatelli.

Doug: Pickin' him in his swan song. Tom, what say ye?

Tom: Ooh, there are a couple of ways we could go with this. I'm
hoping the audience has been paying attention to the news recently,
as this woman has been making headlines -- HOPE Solo.

(audience cheers)

Rick: Ryan Morris

Ryan: Han Solo

(audience cheers)

Rick: And finally, Chico.

Chico: Going Solo.

(audience applause)

Doug: All right, there's three. Going solo, Hope Solo and Han Solo.
As you know, you may take any of their suggestions -- or forget 'em
all and come up with an answer of your own.

Rick: Being a Star Wars fan myself, the first thing that popped
into my head is HAN Solo.

(audience cheers) (cut to Ryan's square; he claps and crosses his
fingers) (cut back to two-shot of Doug and Rick)

Doug: (trying to impersonate Yoda) Using the force you are.

(audience laughs)

Doug: My brother, Geof, is also a Star Wars fan -- and would
pick Han Solo as well. Let's see how the results went. First,
we begin at the bottom and reveal the CY$500 response.

_____SOLO
DRUM

(ding)

Doug: Drum solo. Kinda sorta matches Chico's answer. Let's
see if we a frozen Han Solo under the CY$1000 number.

(a few laughs from the crowd)

_____SOLO
HOPE
DRUM

(ding)

Doug: (trying to impersonate Tommy Flanagan) Hope Solo --
whom I've seen naked.

(audience laughs)

Doug: To an extent, we all did in the ESPN magazine. Hope
was Tom's answer, as you'll recall.

Last chance for Han Solo. Slide the biggun', Earl.

(dings; MG-HSH win music plays; audience applause)

Doug: Got it!

(Rick runs over to Ryan's desk; they shake hands; Rick
rejoins Doug center stage)
