Doug: (grabs A; walks to panel) Last question in regulation Match Game
for John goes like this.

Bruno Tombioli said, "Jessica Simpson is an awful mess.  In last
night's dancing contest, she tried to do the can-can.  She ended up
doing the << BLANK-BLANK >> instead."

(audience laughs) (think music plays) 

 

Doug: And the group's set.  John, need 'em all to stay in business.

(audience groans) 

Doug: Ohhhhhh, I don't think that's going to send this to a tie-breaker.
An important part of the question was "can-can".  Philip, what did she
do instead?

Philip: Call me Richard Dawson.  I'm in opposites territory here...CAN'T CAN'T

(buzz)

Doug: That was the *the* answer.  Rick, you've won it.

(dings; MG-HSH win music plays; audience applause)
