All right, we're back to normal on the Net Match Game - Hollywood
Squares Hour. Before we start, some notes...

\ Dom Falance resumes his reign with one win and CY$50,500. He'll
play the X's in Hollywood Squares

\ This is Game 43. So if you played as a civilian in Game 40, 41
or 42, please sit on your hands and let someone else play. In the
interest of spreading the wealth, we'll count Game 42 as a normal
episode. Can't remember when you played? Just go to
www.nmghsh.cjb.net or www.dougmorris.net/nmghsh and click on
"Archives".

\ Joining the usual suspects are Troy Diggs, Brian Sapinski,
Jerry Depew and Barry Brooks.

\ New rules in the Super Match. Top answer in the Audience Match
is now worth CY$2000. The top multiplier in the Head-To-Head
Match is still 50 -- for a total possible payoff of CY$100,000.

...now it's qualifying time. The two players closest to the
right answer, high or low, compete in Match Game with the winner
advancing to Hollywood Squares. The question...

On December 17, 2000 (yes, that's right, we found a written record
of this airing in 2000), we watched a GSN rerun of "The New $25,000
Pyramid". How much money was awarded to the contestants from the
Winner's Circle? Please respond to the nearest multiple of $50.

Let's make the answers due Thursday at 10:00pm EDT/9:00pm CDT.
In the interest of speed, please go ahead and choose A or B in the
event you come the closest to the right answer.
(time passes)

And that's time. Gosh, a lot of you lowballed. The answer is...

(ding)

...combined with the $10,000 in the first Winner's Circle and the
near perfect $750 in the second. Who's the closest?

Shawn Wells	$10,550

The internet's big dealer. Shawn was a celebrity a couple of episodes
ago. So this is perfectly legit. Shawn, you'll play against...

David Barkow $1,550

...David Barkow, the highest of the lowballers. NMG-HSH comin' at ya.

Glenn Bowman: "Mary Hart, Mary Hart" (audience laughs) will not be
seen at this time -- so that we may bring you the following
entertainment tonight.

Ryan Morris
and
Doug Morris

Doug: Thanks, Glenn Bowman. Helloooooooo, everybody and welcome
back to the Net Match Game - Hollywood Squares Hour. Hello, stars.

Panel: (basically in unison) Hello, Ryan and Doug.

Ryan: And hello to you at home. Regular game play has resumed
after an exciting champions' special. Dom Falance returns with
one win and CY$50,500. He defends his title against the winner
of Match Game.

Doug: And the winner of Hollywood Squares plays for more loot in
the Super Match. The Audience Match could be worth up to CY$2000
-- which could lead to a payoff of CY$100,000.

(audience cheers)

Doug: So -- let the games begin!

(more cheers) (Ryan and Doug shake hands) (Ryan sits in the Morris
chair on the panel) (Doug walks over to the Match Game desks)

Doug: Big welcome to the challengers -- Shawn Wells and David Barkow.

(more cheers)

Doug: We'll chat later. But let's begin the game As
you know, the objective here to match as many...

Doug: ...of these members of the Net Wheel Watchers Club as you
possibly can.

(light laughter from the crowd)

Doug: Lead of course by Barry. Each time you match a panelist,
you earn CY$100. But if you max out and match everyone, we'll
elevate your score to CY$1000. High scorer after three rounds
advances to Hollywood Squares to face Matt. The high scorer
there plays the Super Match -- which, as noted earlier, has one
question that could be worth up to CY$100,000.
