HS Round 1 Question 2

Ryan: Dom, pick a square.

Dom: Well, he put in a good performance on "Countdown" a while back,
so I'll go with Ryan.

Ryan V: Dom - I'm flattered that you watched! It was a great experience,
and I got to keep my correct numbers game poster.

Ryan M: Ryan, time for our version of "The Price *WAS* Right". When
it was introduced in 1971, what was the actual retail price for a pocket
calculator?

Ryan V: Hmm... pocket calculator? Much easier than that portable
abacus I used to keep in the back of my car.

(audience laughs)

Ryan V: It was a pretty pricey number that first pocket calculator - $250.

Dom: I disagree; I think it was around $400.

Ryan M: The Actual Retail Price was.... $150. Circle gets the Square.

(ding; audience applause)
