(audience cheers) (Doug presses button revealing Round 1 questions
on the toaster)

Doug: (in his best Irish accent) Shawn, me boy, the Irish eyes
smiled upon you to give you first choice. 

(light laughter from the crowd)

Doug: A or B?

Shawn: I'll go with A.

 

 

Doug: I couldn't resist.  (grabs A; walks to panel)  It's a new
game and...

(audience cheers; fanfare)

Doug: ...hey, nice way to start the new year.  Shawn, you picked
the Grand Question.  The way this works is you'll still win
CY$100 per match or CY$1000 if you match everyone.

In addition, you *and* Brian are trying to win a bonus of CY$1000, 
which does not apply to the score of the game.  And if either of
you match Dean Scungio, the bonus is yours.  

So, players, stars, friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your
ears.

The Boy Scouts are updating their merit badges for this millennium. 
Just the other day, they awarded the first badge for excellence

Mark: I think I heard a story about this on the radio while driving 
into work the other day.  Could you run that by me one more time?

Doug: OK.  The Boy Scouts are updating their merit badges for this 
millennium.  Just the other day, they awarded the first badge for

(Mark writes)

Doug: All right, everyone's just about ready.

 

Doug: And we're set.  Shawn, this is normally your turn, so I'll
take your answer first.  Then Brian I'll get yours.  The question
again...
