MG Tie-Breaker

Doug: Well, the great thing about this is the runner-up is assured
of at least CY$2000 -- CY$1000 in score and CY$1000 from the bonus
question we just played. But now, we get set for the tie-breaker.
To start, we have to blow a fuse.

Doug: Next order of business -- give tie-breaker question to
the panel. And the question is -- The Three << BLANK >>.
The Three << BLANK >>.

(stars write)

Doug: Steve and Robert, as they write, please look at your
secret screens. Those of you watching at home get to look
in.

THE THREE______

TENORS
Doug: On the screen, you see the same question they're
responding to -- The Three << BLANK >>. Out of the sight
of the stars are four different answers to this question.

You'll each choose different answers -- then I'll canvas
the stars. Each time a star matches your selection, you
score one point. The player with more points wins CY$500 for
the tie-breaker -- and then goes on to Hollywood Squares.

Steve, since you started Round 1, you get to pick first.
Please secretly lock in a selection.

(ding)

Doug: Picking answer #2. Now to Robert -- please choose from
the remaining answers.

(ding)

Doug: Number 3.

Doug: OK, the panel's set. Given the quirks of the rules, four
points will automatically win the tie-breaker. Dane, to you first.
How did you complete this? The Three...

Dane: ALL FOR ONE! AND ONE FOR ALL!!

[MUSKETEERS]

(ding)

Doug: Dude, no need to shout. (audience laughs) Anyway,
"Musketeers" was Steve's answer; he's leading 1-0. Chad.

Chad: The first thing that came in to my head, ya wiseguy.

[ STOOGES ]

(ding)

Doug: That was Robert's answer. Tied 1-1 in the tie-break.
To Jay now.

Jay: Stooges

(ding)
Doug: And Robert now leads 2-1. We come down to Ryan.
The Three...

Ryan: Stooges

(ding) (smattering of cheers)

Doug: Robert pads the lead 3-1. Steve the best you can hope
for is a tie.

If

Dusty

said

"Musketeers",

Steve

Dusty,

Dusty: Mmm.... chocolate.

[ MUSKETEERS ]

(ding) (smattering of cheers)

Doug: And Steve cuts into the lead 3-2. Now it's to David...

if

he

said

"Musketeers",

we

go

to

another

tie-

breaker;

otherwise

Robert's

comeback

effort

is

complete.

David,

a

lot

is

riding

on

this.

How

did

you

fill

in

the

Doug: And Robert completes the comeback!

(Steve and Robert shake hands)

MUSKETEERS | STOOGES | STOOGES
STOOGES | MUSKETEERS | STOOGES

Steve's answer: MUSKETEERS
Robert's answer: STOOGES

(MG-HSH variant theme plays)

Doug: Robert, come take your place over here on the blue dot.
Steve, we thank you for playing. You had a shot at it near the end.
His answer turned out to be the better one. But you go home with
CY$2000. A nice hand for Steve Michaels.

(audience cheers) (MG desks and toaster roll toward stage left)
