MG Round 2 Question B

Doug: (grabs B; walks to panel) This time, everyone on the panel
plays since Michael's yet to score.

Chris Wolvie said, "When producing Netgame Marathon, I wanted to
bring together some of the most successful net games of all time.
But if I wanted to bring together some of the least successful net
games of all time, I would've included << BLANK >>."

(MG '7x synth vamp think music plays)

Chris: (blinks) Did...did I say THAT?! (shrugs)
Well, it's on the card so it must be true.

Doug: 'Fraid you did. OK, they're set, Michael.

Chris Wolvie said, "When producing Netgame Marathon, I wanted to
bring together some of the most successful net games of all time.
But if I wanted to bring together some of the least successful net
games of all time, I would've included << BLANK >>."

Michael: I'm going to say the Netgame Netgame.

(audience laughs and applauds)

Doug: Ah, he still remembers one of the greatest train wrecks ever
on VBS. Let's see if anyone over here did.

Chris: Again, so many choices, but I'll have to go with one of
my earlier "Wolvie Enterprises" stink-bombs:

Doug: I actually liked that show. Jay?

Jay: Michael, I have to apologize. Round 2 questions are
supposed to be easier but I'm totally blank. Having been out
of the loop for so long and putting all of the unpleasantness
way WAY behind me I haven't the foggiest. So I'll go with...

Jay: Whether it was a netgame or not. Sorry.

(buzz)

Doug: NBS, FWIW, had a sidebar game based on NYSI. I remember
someone doing NNYSI -- but I can't remember who. Tom?

Tom: Of course, it is the game everybody's talking about...

(buzz) (audience laughs)

Doug: Huh-KAY. Over to Ryan now. Chris Wolvie said, "When
producing Netgame Marathon, I wanted to bring together some of
the most successful net games of all time. But if I wanted to
bring together some of the least successful net games of all
time, I would've included << BLANK >>." And Michael said The
Netgame Netgame.

Ryan: One of my more recent attempts at starting a new netgame...

Doug: Bummer it was a short run, too. Chico?

Chico: Cheap shot coming... cheap shot coming... cheap shot coming.

(card) Jackpot Who Am I?

(buzz) (audience laughs and applauds)

Doug: Well, somewhat close. Dean?

Dean: Wow. So many possibilites. All of us here have had our
duds, myself included. I could have made up something funny,
but instead, I remembered a hybrid game of two parts that had
absolutely no link between them. Ladies and gentlemen, it's
time for...

Michael's response: THE NETGAME NETGAME

Doug: Well, we end the round the way we started. Richie's still
leading 100 to nil. Come back and find out who's going to the squares
after this.
