MG tie-BREAKER

Doug: (pulls tie-break question from coat pocket) Now to the tie-breaker
question. Panel, let me point out there is an "apostrophe S" after the
blank -- as I give you this question. << BLANK'S >> World.

(panelists write)

Doug: Andy and Michael, as they write, look at your secret screens
please.

______'S WORLD
1
BOBBY
2
EBAUM
3
ELMO
4
WAYNE
Doug: You're seeing the question they're responding to -- << BLANK'S >>
World. Below the question, you see four different answers that fill
in the blank. The stars do not have access to the choices your looking
at.

You'll each choose one different answer and then we'll check the
answers from them. Each time one of the panelists matches the answer
you picked, you score one point. Player with more points advances
to the finals.

Andy, the rules dictate since you went first in Round 1, you go first
in the tie-break. Please choose your answer by number.

(Andy presses 4 on his keypad) (ding)

Doug: Andy has locked in with answer number 4. Michael, that leaves
you with 1, 2 or 3. Please make your selection by number.

(Michael presses 1 on his keypad) (ding)

Doug: Number 1. Now given the quirks of the rules, four points
will automatically send you to the finals -- because if you matched
four stars, the best your opponent could do is two.

Doug: And we're all set. Troy, we'll start with you. How
did you fill in << BLANK'S >> World?

Troy: A favorite show of my friend Ryan -- [BEAKMAN'S WORLD]

Doug: I know that matches no one -- because it wasn't offered as
a choice. Jay Lewis.

Jay Lewis: I loved it as a younger guy and am enjoying the reruns...

| BEAKMAN |
+---------+

Doug: Same song, next verse. To the other Jay.

Jay Cross: Bobby

(ding)

Doug: That was Michael's answer. One point for Michael,
none for Andy. Ryan, what did you think?

Ryan: He made a guest appearance on Deal or No Deal....

Bobby's World.

(ding)

Doug: That's two for Michael...

Andy,

you

must

match

Tammy

and

Dean

to

force

another

tie-

breaker

or

else

Michael

goes

to

the

Hollywood

Squares

finals.

Tammy,

show

us

your

card.

Tammy: My "gut instinct" told me, [BOBBY'S]

(dings; audience applause; MG-HSH win music plays)

Doug: And that clinches victory for Michael. Dean, not
that your answer matters -- but show us.

(MG-HSH variant plays)

Dean: Howie Mandel's own...

| BOBBY'S |
+---------+

Doug: Oh goodness. Incidentally, Andy's answer was
"Wayne's World".

BEAKMAN | BEAKMAN | BOBBY
BOBBY | BOBBY | BOBBY

Andy's response: WAYNE
Michael's response: BOBBY

Doug: Michael, come on down and join me. Andy, the bad news is
you will not defend your tournament championship. The good news is
you've won CY$5000 for the perfect score earlier and CY$25,000 for
being the runner-up here. That's CY$30,000 we're adding to your
previous winnings -- for a total of CY$129,300.

(audience cheers)

Doug: And I know we'll see you again sometime. Andy Geller, everyone.
