Ryan: Jay, Hewlett-Packard made its first sale in what decade?

Jay C: Okay, so here's the question: Did they exist before or 
after the Dick Van Dyke Show?  That's how I divide history, before 
and after.  (light laughter from the crowd) I'd have to say it sounds 
more possible that they made their first sale in the 1960's. 

Steve: Man, another toughie...I'm gonna...disagree

Ryan: Hewlett-Packard sold an audio oscillator to the Walt Disney Studios in
1938; the studio used it during production of "Fantasia". Circle gets the square.
