Jay: This is *TOTALLY* up my alley. Having both read 1984 and 
seen every episode (except 2 in S1) of every series of BB I can 
tell you that the book came first.

Robert: Julie can't be THAT young. I disagree.
 
Ryan: The book was first published in 1949; Julie was born in 1970.
