and welcome to another Net Match Game - Hollywood Squares Hour.
Ryan: Hello stars!
Panel: (more or less in unison) Hello, Ryan and Doug.
Doug: Looks like they're ready. Let's play!
(audience cheers) (Ryan and Doug shake hands) (Ryan walks over
to "the Morris chair" among the panel) (Doug walks over to the
Match Game players' desks)
Doug: And let's keep up that energy up as we welcome to our
stage John Menjes and Steve Michaels.
(audience cheers)
Doug: We want to get acquainted before we start the game. John,
you've been with us a couple of times before and have heeded the
waiting period each time. For those who haven't seen you on the
show, tell us about yourself.
John: Hey, I'm John Menjes from Hollywood, FL. When I'm not
taking NMG-HSH for cyber-money, I enjoy bicycling, Ratchet and
Clank, and the Florida Marlins.
(Marlin fans in the crowd cheer)
Doug: Ah, a Marlin fan. I've been a Marlin fan even before they
had a baseball team in Miami. I watched Marlin Perkins a lot
on "Wild Kingdom". (audience boos) Um, anyway, John, welcome
aboard. Good luck to the Marlins this season -- and to you in
the game. Steve's been with us before -- but as a celeb when
he was host of Net Percentages. Just in case no one tuned in
to that fine show, tell us the story of Steve Michaels.
Steve: I'm 22, from New Hampshire, I enjoy professional wrestling,
baseball, and am SO proud that my Red Sox are World Champions.
(BoSox fans in the crowd cheer)
Doug: And if you're expecting me to make a BoSox joke, I have none.
It was great to see years of frustration come to an end. John
and Steve, since you've both been here before, I'll quickly
explain...
Doug: ...you want to match as many of these amazing racers who've
been Philiminated as you possibly can. (light laughter from the
crowd) Match more stars than your opponent at the end of the 3rd
round and you play against our designated champ, Rick Morris, in
Hollywood Squares. Winner there moves on to the Super Match for
a possible CY$50,000 payoff.
