Ryan: Jay, Emilio Onra was the first person to do this.  Do what?

 

Ryan: Doug, In 1970, rock star Pete Townshend was detained at

an airport in Memphis because he used the word "bomb".  Turns 

out it wasn't a bomb threat -- but was he really talking about?

 

Doug: The New Orleans Saints.  (audience laughs)  I *should* know

this -- since I've hosted rock 'n' roll radio shows for the last 12 years. 

When Pete said "bomb", he was referring to the success of The 

Who's concert performance in Memphis.



Michael: I disagree.

 

Ryan: He was talking about the success of The Who's rock opera 

"Tommy." X gets the square.
