HS round1question6

Ryan: Michael, pick a square.

Michael: I'll take another fellow member of GSC X, John Venturini.

Ryan: John, In 1943, a wartime ban on the sale of what

type of bread went into effect in the U.S.?

John: I'm not going to go into some Yakov Smirnov rant

here about liberties... wait, Smirnov... if you were to pick

a stage name, definitely pick a last name that coincides

with a brand name of alcohol. Personally, I would now like

to be known as Captain Morgan. But that's neither here

or there. (audience laughs) Along with subsequent bans on

peanut butter and jelly (screw you Julie Chen), I would h

ave to say pre-sliced bread.

Michael: I agree.

Ryan: It was pre-sliced bread. Circle gets the square.
