Super Match:
Audience Match

(audience applauds; MG-HSH music plays)
(fade into three shot of Justin, Doug and Phil)
Justin: And now, back to play the super match is Doug Morris.
Doug: Ha ha! Thanks, Justin. Thanks for keeping the Morris chair
warm while I was out.
Justin: Glad I could help, Doug. By the way, where were you?
Doug: Well, in my spare time, I give dancing lessons to Jennifer Lopez
and... (audience laughs)...her only free night was in the midst of
tonight's taping. Anyway, it's nice to be back for the big cyber-money
super match. Phil's back in the spotlight.
Phil, before we start, let me note that it's mathematically possible
to build a head-to-head bank of at least CY$15,000. If you can set the
bank at 15-grand or higher and then exactly match a celebrity, you'll
cross that 30-thousand threshold and make it into our champions' special.
(audience cheers).
But, before we get to the head-to-head question, we have to play the
audience match. And just when you thought Justin's involvment in the
show was over, he's agreed to run the Super Match board... (Justin
walks to what's usually Earl's position behind the board) ...because
Earl's vacationing in Jamaica. Lucky guy. (audience laughs)
J-man, ya ready back there?
Justin: Yes.
Doug: All righty. We're asking you, the internet audience, to give us
your best response to this. OK, Justin, slide it...

(ding)
Doug: Final << BLANK >>. Phil, if you match the most popular answer,
you're CY$1000 richer. Match the second most popular answer and you
have CY$500. The third most popular pays 250. If you give an answer
that ranks outside of the top three, you collect CY$100.

Doug: Phil, you know the drill. Pick three stars, please.
Phil: Dean.
Dean: Well, Doug, there's a movie that just came out on DVD. It's yet
another video-game-to-silver-screen film called "FINAL FANTASY."
(audience cheers)
Phil: Seth.
Seth: Final JEOPARDY
(audience cheers)
Doug: OK, one more.
(Chico keeps pointing to himself lipping "PICK ME! PICK ME!")
Seth: And Chico.
Chico: Final ANSWER!
(audience cheers)
Doug: OK, Phil, you now have three to consider -- Final Fantasy, Final
Jeopardy! and Final Answer. As you know, you may use one of their
suggestions in the hope of matching our #1 CY$1000 answer -- or you can
reject those ideas and come up with something on your own. What's your
pleasure?
Phil: I hate when this happens. I'm torn between two. Let's see. I'll
go with Final Answer.
(audience cheers)
Doug: I think I know which other response you had in mind. Truth be
told, I think you drew three excellent suggestion and it wouldn't
surprise me if Justin opened up those as the top three. Of course,
you're hoping "Final Answer" ends up as the top answer. First, we
start at the CY$250 response. Justin, what was number three?

(ding)
Doug: Uh-huh. Final exam. No one said that. Well, let's see #2...

(ding)
Doug: Final Fantasy. There's Dean's suggestion. Well, I don't know
about this one, Phil. Justin's yet to slide "Final Jeopardy!" which
I can only assume was your other thought. So, this could get dicey.
In
any
event,
Justin,
what
is
our
number
one
answer
to
"Final
<< BLANK >>?"

Doug: Woah! Look at that! A tie at #1 between "Answer" and
"Jeopardy!" Congratulations!
[Note from Doug: In recounting the votes and retracing their arrival
"as they came in" to my inbox, "Answer" either had the outright lead
or was tied with "Jeopardy!"]
