MG Round 2 Question B

Doug: OK, James, you need some triangles and some cyber-cash. Let's
see what happens here. (Doug grabs B; walks over to panel)

Doug: All celebs play this one since James didn't match any of you
previously. So, please respond to this...

Everyone knows about talk show host Regis Philbin's success on "Who Wants
To Be A Millionaire." Talk show host Maury Povich tried his hand at a
revival of the quiz show "Twenty-One". Now, wouldn't ya know it, Jerry
Springer's in the game show biz as the host of "The << BLANK >> Game".

(audience laughs and applauds)
(J! think music plays)

Doug: OK, James, they're ready. Let's see if you can get on the
scoreboard. Everyone knows about talk show host Regis Philbin's success
on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire." Talk show host Maury Povich tried
his hand at a revival of the quiz show "Twenty-One". Now, wouldn't
ya know it, Jerry Springer's in the game show biz as the host of
"The << BLANK >> Game".

James: The way most of the people on that show wind up, I will say
THE NEWLYDIVORCED GAME.

(audience laughs and applauds)

Doug: NewlyDivorced Game, eh? That's clever. There's a better answer
I think. But, we'll see if any of our stars came up with anything like
that. Charlie, we start with you. He's looking for the The NewlyDivorced
Game. And I'm sure simply Divorced Game would match.

Charlie: This ain't easy for me. I can think of Richard Bey's game show
successes, such as the Wheel of Torture and The Thru-lywed Game. He'd
be a great host, but I digress.

Doug: LOL! To be sure.

Charlie: It's Springer, huh?

Doug: Yup.

Charlie: Well, a bad talk show host deserves a bad game, so, with all
apologies to the original host, Bob Eubanks, I'm gonna say

| THE DIAMOND |
| HEAD GAME |

It's gonna last for eight weeks and it'll gonna rain just about every
show.

(buzz) (audience boos)

Doug: Eh, the only thing I liked about that show -- Jane Nelson in a
bikini and sarong. 'Nuff said. (smattering of applause) Oh, the
Diamond Head Game fan club's here. (audience laughs) Jay, over to
you.

Jay: The Newly Dumped For Your Sister Game?
(audience laughs) how about

| PUNCHING |

(buzz) (audience applause)

Doug: There's the answer I was thinking. Anything related to
punching, fighting, stuff like that. But, there's still hope
for NewlyDivorced Game. Jim, what did you write?

Jim: I got it! I think I may have the definitive answer!

Doug: OK, we'll see.

Jim: THE 'WHO BE MY PARENT' GAME!

(buzz) (audience laughs and applauds)

Doug: That's another clever one. We turn to the Morris chair
now. Ryan, what's game is Jerry hosting?

Ryan: When I Heard Jerry Springer I Thought of...

Doug: Another fight game. Deano, do you have
The NewlyDivorced Game for James?

Dean: As tempted as I am to say the "Dysfunctional Family Feud", I guess
I have to stick with the format of the < BLANK > in question and say
that Jerry hosts the...

I don't want to know what "making whoopee" means in this case.

(buzz)

Doug: I think we're better off not knowing. (audience laughs)
Dana, wrap this up for us. He's looking for a divorce.

Dana: James, I'm going to really try to cover as much ground as
I can for you.... I said since many of his guests end up in fisticuffs,
he's make a great host of
"The Outrageous Fighting/Hairpulling/Bitch-Slapping Game"

Doug: 'Fraid that's everything but a divorce. (buzz) Well, let's
summarize the scoring and answers.

DIAMOND HEAD | PUNCHING | WHO BE MY PARENT
FIGHTING | TRANSEXUAL NEWLYWED | ...FIGHTING/HAIRPULLING...

Doug: Two rounds down, one round to go. Dave's padded his lead.
Can James make a comeback? Or will Dave hold on to the lead and
play against Eddie Timanus in Hollywood Squares. Find out in
Round 3 after this. (MG-HSH music plays)
