Doug: We're back on our maiden voyage of Net Poker Live! We're here in Gulfport, Mississippi, at the Bonus Island Resort and Casino. David Hammond won our game. And, David, ya ready for your bonus game?

David: Yeah

Doug: OK, let's take a look at the video screen...

 

(FF reveal sfx)

Doug: ...David, behind the numbers on the video screen are the cards Ace through 9 from every suit. Dirty Harry has a series of three tasks for you. Each time you successfully conquer a task, you win cyber-money. The first task is worth CY$10,000, the second is worth CY$25,000 and the last is CY$50,000.

David: Sounds simple enough

Doug: Indeed -- simple stuff. That's a total of CY$85,000. Remember, the more the task is worth, the tougher it will be to complete it.

David: And if I get all 3?

Doug: Glad you asked. If you succeed in all three tasks, I'll tack on another CY$15,000 to your total for a grand payoff of CY$100,000.

(audience cheers)

David: Lets do it

Doug: He says "let's do it". Dirty Harry, what's your first task for David.

(DH lifts card)

DON'T DRAW ANY RED ACE

David: Sounds easy

Doug: It should be. Avoid the Ace of Hearts and the Ace of Diamonds and you win CY$10,000. Pick a number.

David: 11

Doug: Number 11. What's behind 11?

 

(bing)

(audience cheers)

Doug: Easy 10-grand. Next task is usually 50/50. What's that next task, Dirty Harry?

(DH lifts card)

DRAW ANY FACE CARD

Doug: Hmm, OK, well ya know one face card's gone. So it's slightly worse than 50% to win. But, pick a number.

David: 18

Doug: Number 18. Another Queen? Or a Jack or King?

 

(buzz) (audience groans)

Doug: Oops.

(DH smirks at David's failure)

David: Well so much for the 100G's

Doug: Dirty Harry likes it when that happens. Especially when you consider all the unclaimed funds go toward his salary. Anyway, last chance to beat him and this final task is for CY$50,000. Let's see that last task card.

(DH lifts card)

DRAW ANY 9

Doug: Oh dear. Only three 9s left. Can you find one?

David: 7

Doug: Oh, let's hope 7's a lucky number. Is it?

 

(buzz) (audience groans)

Doug:: Nope. If you went to 7 on the second task and 18 for the last, you'd win. However, you still have CY$10,000 from this round. Add that to your previous winnings for a grand total of CY$14,200.

(audience cheers)

Doug: Thank you again, for playing, David. We'll be back for an audience game. Someone's going to spin against the Outlaw for CY$20,000 after this.
