Joker Poker Rich: The championship's on the line. Andy and Josh play Joker Poker where one of them *will* win CY$25,000 -- and have a chance to win a bonus worth CY$50,000. Back to Doug Morris and The New Net Poker.
Doug: I thank you Rich. And here we are with our final round of this sneak preview of The New Net Poker.
ANDY JOSH ![]()

Doug: Andy won our first round, Josh the second. And now it's time for the deciding round of our game. Remember, the winner is assured of CY$25,000 straight up -- and then could go on to win approximately CY$1.1 million (audience cheers) all that between picking two letters in the word "Poker" as well as Deuces Wild Poker and our new side game, Joker.
First thing's first. Our theme for this round.

THE FRAME GAME
Doug: Used to be that we'd play General Knowledge Multiple Choice here. But as you've figured out by now, we're saving that for Poker Run. So, we're starting Joker Poker with The Frame Game.
In The Frame Game, we'll have three frames in play with each question. There'll be one word in the top frame and one in the bottom. You have to figure out the mystery word in the center. Correctly identifying the center word will result in two different two-word phrases.
An example from an earlier show.
BANANA ??? DECISION Doug: We have Banana at the top and Decision at the bottom. Deej, care to guess what's in the center.
D.J.: Ah, a word up my alley. Split.
(light laughter from the crowd)
Doug: Why do we encourage her? Anyway, she's right. Banana split. Split decision. Chime with the right word and you earn 10 points and control of the cards. Remember the new wrinkle here -- if you buzz in and answer incorrectly, the points and control go to your opponent automatically.
Then we'll play for 15 points on the blind card frames after you each collect four cards. High hand is worth 25 points. Then we race to 100 through the Poker Run.
Because Andy won the first round, he cut the cards. Remember, this is Joker Poker -- so there are two Jokers in the deck. They may be used for anything when your hand's complete. Deej, let's see some cards and play some Joker Poker.
D.J.: Hey! The Jack of Diamonds and the Joker.
Doug: Well now. What a way to start. OK, here come the first frames of the round. Tell us what goes in the center.
JOHNNY ??? REGISTER Doug: Andy.
Andy: CASH
Doug: Dude, no need to shout, I'm right here. (light laughter from the crowd) And Cash is right. (ding; audience applause) Johnny Cash. Cash register. Andy, you're on the board with 10 points. Which card?
Andy: Obviously I want the Joker.
Doug: And obviously...
ANDY
JOSH
Doug: ...that takes you out of contention for a natural royal flush. But five of a kind is possible. Five of a kind in this round, from now on, also is worth CY$1,000,000. (audience cheers) You might recall we came close to five of a kind in a regular game a few years back. Let's see if it happens here. Next cards, please.
D.J.: The 10 of Spades and the Queen of Clubs.
Doug: Obviously no hope for a natural royal for Josh. So, let's concentrate on the next frames.
BROADWAY ??? CHAIRS Doug: Andy again.
Andy: Musical.
Doug: Correct again. (ding; audience applause) Broadway musical. Musical chairs. Which card joins the Joker?
Andy: The Queen.
Doug: Lady in black for Andy...
ANDY
JOSH
Doug: ...and a 10 in black for Josh. More cards, please.
(scattered woos and cheers)
D.J.: The Joker and the King of Spades.
Doug: Well now. Important frames coming up. Here they are.
WARDROBE ??? JUNCTION Doug: Josh.
Josh: I'm going to say Malfunction.
Doug: And I'm going to say -- you're on the scoreboard.
ANDY JOSH ![]()

Doug: Wardrobe malfunction, a term coined after an incident from a certain Super Bowl halftime performance. Malfunction juncion, a term associated with a particularly dangerous intersection. Josh, which card?
Josh: Take the Joker.
Doug: Taking the last Joker in the deck.
ANDY
JOSH
Doug: Both players are on a straight draw. Next pair before the blind cards.
(a few woos from the crowd)
D.J.: The 9 of Spades and the Queen of Spades.
Doug: Huh kay. We'll see, eventually, if Josh truly broke up a chance at five of a kind. Back to the frames. Take a look...
DAY ??? SPACES Doug: Andy.
Andy: Trading.
Doug: That's correct. (ding; audience applause) OK, Andy, you lead 30-10 ahead of the blind card frames. Which card?
Andy: Queen
Doug: Another lady in black for Andy.
ANDY
JOSH
Doug: For Josh, a King high straight could be done. All depends on the final two cards for the round.
Doug: Next question's worth 15 points. High hand still gets 25 points -- and then we're off to the Poker Run.
VIRGINIA ??? COUNCIL Doug: Andy.
Andy: I hope it's... City.
Doug: And you're hope is -- right.
ANDY JOSH ![]()
![]()
Doug: Virginia City, Nevada, was "home base" for the classic Western show "Bonanza". And, of course, city council.
Andy, you're looking for 25 more points. Which card do you think will help?
Andy: Right.
Doug: The right it is. And as we get the cards in place...
