Doug: Now, Dom, the worst thing that could happen is your score could go down to 45. Even if that happens, you're still assured of two free letters in the Poker Run.
If you manage to have a total of 100 or more, you'll have three free letters. A royal flush gives you 1000 more points, four free letters -- and -- uh -- oh yeah -- CY$1,000,000.
(scattered cheers)
Doug: So no need to play it conservatively. Pick five numbers -- go to town.
Dom: In life, you have to live it 24, 7, 3, 6, 5.
Doug: Creative selections. Let's see how close you are to a big score.

Doug: Well -- the 3-6-5 put you on a royal flush draw. Of course, you could take a much easier route and try and find the other nines. What'cha wanna do?
Dom: Actually, since I count four spades on the board, might as well go for one more. (a few groans from the crowd) Lock in the spades, and I'll pick -- well, people work 9 to 5 so I pick 14.
Doug: Ohhh-kay. Well, if you do succeed in finding another Spade, we'll add 25 points to your coffers. No matter what happens, you'll get two free letters -- but let's see if he got a fifth Spade.

(FF reveal sfx) (Trivia Trap sfx) (audience groans)
Doug: Well, 10 of Hearts obviously doesn't help. You end up with only a pair of 10s. (buzz; Dom's score is reduced to 45) Crowd wanted you to go for the royal or quad 9s -- that way we could give you three or maybe even four free letters.
But as noted earlier, the worst that could happen did happen. You only lost five points. And you'll have the advantage as we start our new Poker Run.

Doug: This much has *not* changed. In a three-player Poker Run, the players trade in their points for letters.

Doug: Dom had the most points -- so he gets two free letters. Brian had the next highest amount of points -- so he earned one free letter. Champ is starting from scratch since Andy had the least amount of points.
Now here's the new way to earn more letters -- by chiming in and correctly completing an analogy. For example, if I gave you "The Joker's Wild" is to the devil as "Tic Tac Dough" is to... -- you would buzz in and say "dragon". This sample analogy compares classic game shows to their respective bad guys in the bonus rounds.
Each analogy in the Poker Run is worth one letter. The first to collect all five letters in the word "POKER" wins the round. Remember if you buzz in and give me a wrong answer, you're automatically out for the next analogy as the other two contestants play it.
Hands back on the buzzers, please, because the Poker Run starts -- NOW!
