Doug: Another Ace -- but that's it.

Doug: One pair of Aces add another 5 points to your total. It's still possible to share the lead going into the Poker Run. Matt, it's about to be your turn after we shuffle.

(cards are shuffled on the video screen; after shuffling stops, the cards are covered immediately with the 24 numbers)

Doug: Now before you draw your cards, please tell us the Matt Taylor story in about eight simseconds.

Matt: Well I'm Matt Taylor from Maine where the foliage has turned and we're just waiting for the snow.

Doug: Heck, around here, we're waiting for the foliage and to get out of the 90-degree temperatures. (audience laughs) Five numbers, please.

Matt: 3, 4, 17, 20, 22

Doug: All right. Let's have a look.

(FF reveal sfx)

Doug: Two Kings at 3 and 4 alone will give you five more points. If you stop right now, you'll have the lead and a total of two free letters in the Poker Run.

But, before you make any decision, here's a little something to think about. A score of at least 100 points gives you an additional free letter in the Poker Run. A score of at least 1000 gives you a total of four free letters.

Basically, in order to score more than two free letters, you'd need to make four of a kind, a straight flush or that CY$1,000,000 royal flush. What's your pleasure?

Matt: I'll keep the Kings and go with 7, 13 and 24.

Doug: OK. Even if he dropped one or both Kings, he'd at least clinch a share of first place. Let's see 7, 13 and 24.

(FF reveal sfx) (lots of "woahs" from the crowd)

Doug: Found a third cowboy but not the fourth.

Doug: Matt currently enjoys first place all to himself. But let's convert points into letters and start the Poker Run.

(motorcycle sfx)

Doug: Now, in a three-player Poker Run, the contestants race to collect letters in the word "Poker". Top two players get advantages.

DEAN
MATT
ANDY

(ding)

Doug: Matt, since you had the most points, you collect two free letters as a head start. Dean, you were in second place before the Poker Run's start -- entitling you to one free letter. Andy, unfortunately, no free letters -- but you can make a comeback.

In the Poker Run, we always use multiple choice questions. Chime in with the right answer and you collect a letter. Buzz in and pick a wrong answer -- and your opponents automatically play the next question.

The first player to collect all five letters in "Poker" wins the round and up to CY$7500. Dean, Matt, Andy, good luck. Hands back on the buzzers, please -- because the Poker Run starts -- NOW!
