All right, new game. Dean Scungio and Michael Clifford are returning with two wins and one win, respectively. Here's your chance to compete against them.

Now, while this is a continuation of the current episode, we're still entering Game 46. This means if you played in Game 43, 44 or 45 (Charlie, wherever you are, 'fraid this means you), please sit on your hands and let someone else in on the action.

Since there's the one vacancy, the closest to the right answer, high or low, wins the qualifying round. And the subject matter of the question's a bit timely...

On January 23, 2010, at 2:30pm Central, we watched a GSN rerun of "Family Feud". This particular episode was hosted by Richard Karn. In the main game, contestants were asked to name a state where 100-degree temperatures are common. Out of 100 people surveyed, who were given the same question, how many gave the number one answer of "Arizona".

All right, time's up. Survey *said*...

It's Robert with 39. Thanks to everyone else for attempting to qualify. Keep watching the netgames mailing list and the websites of www.dougmorris.net/games for more ways to play and win.

Doug: Robert, tell us about yourself, please.

Robert: I'm Robert McBride and proud to be a graduate college student since May of last year, and I'm still working on my Game Show Kingdom blog and MMA Examiner jobs.

Doug: All right, well good luck in those projects. Good luck to all of you in this new game. Starting with the Video Poker round and a theme we call...

THE LAST NAME'S
BEEN RICKROLLED

Doug: ...The Last Name's Been Rickrolled. (light laughter from the crowd) This is a bit of a spinoff of The Last Word theme we use here on the show.

I'm going to give you a false statement about a famous person with the first name of Rick. Attributing that statement to British-born pop singer Rick Astley makes the statement false. To correct the statement, just chime in and tell me the last name that really belongs in the statement.

For example, if I gave you this statement...

The current governor of Texas is Rick Astley.

...you would buzz in and simply say "Perry". Let's try one more and we'll start the round...

The University of Louisville's basketball team's head coach is Rick Astley.

(light laughter from the crowd)

Doug: Now now. I know what you're thinking. In this situation, the correct answer here is Pitino.

We've already given each of you 10 points to start you off. Each of the next five toss-up statments is worth 10 points and then we go to D.J. at the big screen for more points.

Hands on the buzzers and away we go.
