5-Card Poker Rich: All of tonight's players receive a copy of Net Poker: The Home Game. Make winning hands, battle against the outlaws and hit big jackpots. Net Poker: The Home Game -- now available at http://basicgames.folff.com -- from Eastland Entertainment and Trax Productions.
And now, Josh and Chris try to stay in the game in 5-Card Poker. Back to Doug Morris and Net Poker.
Doug: Indeed they will, Rich. I thank you. Josh, Chris, this is the elimination round. Only the high scorer of this round will stay in business and face off against Todd. The other will take a ride on a ferry to the island of consolation prizes -- one way.
(light laughter from the crowd)
Doug: So you want to do you best here in 5-Card Poker. Our theme for tonight is...

WHO AND
THE WHATS?Doug: ...Who and the Whats? It's based on the parlor game Support Group. I'll give you the first part in the name of a musical act -- and you have to complete the name of the act. For example, Deej, if I said "Huey Lewis and the...", you would say what?
D.J.: News.
Doug: That's right. We'll play one more. "Katrina and the..."
D.J.: (sighs) Waves.
Doug: We thought we'd get that one out of the way. We experienced an altogether different set of Katrina and waves some time back.
In any event, you get the idea. Each time you chime in and correctly complete the identification of a music act, you earn 10 points and the right to choose one of two cards for your poker hand. Always remember the card you decline goes to your opponent.
After you've each collected four cards, we'll play a 15-point blind card question. The player who has the better hand earns 25 points -- but it's the player with the better score than advances to Joker Poker.
JOSH CHRIS ![]()

Doug: As we briefly discussed, you're level-pegging and starting from scratch on the point totals. Josh, before we reset the scores to all goose eggs, you got to cut the cards -- because you finished in second place in the last round. Here come the first two cards from the top of the deck -- down the chute.
D.J.: And we're starting with the Queen of Spades and the Ace of Hearts.
Doug: All right, fellers. Hands on the buzzers and get ready to complete the name of this act. Here we go.
Kool and the...
Doug: Josh.
Josh: I'll go with "Gang".
Doug: And you have the first 10 points of the round. (audience applause) "Celebration", "Joanna", "Cherish" and a lot of other great hits from Kool and the Gang. Which card, Josh?
Josh: The Ace please.
Doug: Ace for Josh.
JOSH
CHRIS
Doug: Chris gets a lady and our lady tells us what's coming down the chute, next.
D.J.: The 9 of Hearts and the King of Diamonds.
Doug: All righty then. Here's the next act.
Jack Mack and the...
Doug: Josh.
Josh: Heart Attack is the answer
Doug: Indeed it is.
JOSH CHRIS ![]()

Doug: Jack Mack and the Heart Attack have two particular claims to fame. They were the house band when Ross Shafer hosted "The Late Show" on Fox. And if you remember the unfortunate bombing in Atlanta during the Olympics, you might remember seeing footage of a concert taking place at an ampitheater -- with a big screen above the band. That band was -- Jack Mack and the Heart Attack.
Josh, you have the control now. Pick a card.
Josh: I'll take the King
Doug: Cowboy for Josh.
JOSH
CHRIS
Doug: And a 9 for Chris. Deej, we need two more cards, please.
D.J.: The 9 of Spades and the Ace of Spades.
Doug: Two Spades up for grabs. Next act.
Gladys Knight and the...
Doug: Josh.
Josh: Gladys Knight and the Pips
Doug: Pips -- right. (audience applause) Josh, so far you've had a hot hand on that buzzer. What are we adding to your poker hand?
Josh: I'll go with the Ace please.
JOSH
CHRIS
Doug: Josh has two bullets. Chris with two 9s. But he sure could use some points. Next cards, please.
D.J.: The 10 of Hearts and the King of Spades.
Doug: All right. A cowboy and a 10 with this next act.
John Cafferty and the...
Doug: Chris.
Chris: Beaver Brown Band
Doug: And you're finally on the scoreboard.
JOSH CHRIS ![]()

Doug: John Cafferty -- not to be confused with Jack Cafferty, that crank case on "The Situation Room" on CNN. Chris, which card?
Chris: Don't wanna give him the best two pair. Gimme the king.
Doug: Thought ya might.
JOSH
CHRIS
Doug: All right, as we go to a pivotal question, Josh has the better hand thus far -- two Aces over Chris' two 9s. Josh also has the better score -- 30 to 10. Let's bring in our final two cards for the round -- face down.
Doug: Question's worth 15 points. Josh, if you chime in and answer correctly, you win the round automatically since there would not be enough points for Chris to catch up. Chris, if you score, you'll stay in the game and have to hope you draw a winning card. Here comes the blind card musical act...
Gary Lewis and the...
Doug: Chris.
Chris: Uh,...Pacemakers?
Doug: Sorry, not right. Josh, a right answer puts you in Joker Poker automatically.
Josh: Gary Lewis and the Playboys.
Doug: That's right. You win.

Doug: Josh, congratulations, you move on to Joker Poker where you'll try and stop Todd Davis' winning ways. But first, a trip to the video screen for a possible CY$5000.
Chris, I'll see you back at the marathon. Keep up the great work on that and Trivia on Tap. We'll give you ten cyber-bucks a point -- or CY$100. We also have great prizes backstage. A nice hand for Chris Wolvie.
