Deuces Wild Poker Doug: Josh Warren is the new Net Poker champion. This is his first time in the land of the Deuces. So, Josh, let me tell ya how this works.
Doug: Behind ten of these numbers, we've randomly hidden outlaw cards. There's one outlaw in the top row, two in the second row, three on the third and four outlaws on the bottom row. You'll choose a number from each row. Each time you avoid an outlaw, you win a Deuce for your poker hand. The more Deuces you have, the better the odds of winning CY$20,000. But if you win four Deuces and manage to avoid all the outlaws, you win the outlaw's jackpot which we're starting anew at CY$50,000.

Doug: That's how much Lynn made last week for... nevermind. (light laughter) Inside joke. Josh, good luck and pick your first number.
Josh: Ok I'll go with 4.
Doug: Number 4. Great number to pick here in Brett Favre country. Is it great for you?
(winning bells; audience applause)
Doug: Yes it is. Josh, Deej will give you your Deuces after you pick your fourth number. We're a little pressed for time. Pick a number now from the second row.
Josh: 8
Doug: The sideways infinity, as Dave Foley called it. What's behind 8?
(winning bells; audience applause)
Doug: Another good pick. Three outlaws to avoid on the third row. So it's 50/50 time. You're playing for the Deuce of Clubs on this row.
Josh: 15
Doug: If there's no outlaw at 15, we go for the jackpot at the bottom row. Show us 15.
(outlaw says "YEEEEE-hawwww!") (audience groans)
Doug: Darn. No jackpot. But we can go for the Deuce of Diamonds and make it three wild cards.
Josh: 23
Doug: Come on -- no outlaw at 23.
(outlaw says "YEEEEE-hawwww!") (audience groans)
Doug: Well, you got two. As Deej deals 'em out, let's see where the rest of the outlaws were.
Doug: There they were. And here are the Deuces you've earned.
Doug: Now during the break, Josh, we had you cut a deck of cards. In a moment, the first two cards from the top of the deck will come down the chute face down. You'll choose one card -- but the other will be discarded immediately. We'll repeat this process with the next two pairs of cards.

Doug: At the end of it all, we hope you have cards higher than a 9 and all of the same suit -- giving you CY$20,000.
Doug: And there are your first two cards. Pick one -- left or right?
Josh: I'll take the right card.
Doug: He takes the right card -- and the right card is...?
D.J.: The Ace of Hearts. Great start.
(scattered cheers from the crowd)
Doug: And it defines the mission...
Doug: ...draw more Hearts higher than a 9. Next two cards are on the way.
Doug: And there they are. Left or right?
Josh: I'll take the right one.
Doug: The right one. Another Heart?
(few groans from the crowd)
D.J.: No. Queen of Clubs.
Doug: Well, darn.
Doug: You can still make CY$2000 for four of a kind. Last two cards, please.
Doug: And which card do you think is worth two grand? Left or right?
Josh: I'll take the right card this time.
Doug: All right. We need that right card to be an Ace or Queen. Deej, give him the news.
(more groans from the crowd)
D.J.: Sorry, Josh. It's a King.
Doug: Oh, if only that Queen were a Heart. But, we'll make one of those Deuces a 10 and the other a Jack to make...
Doug: ...a straight for CY$750.
Doug: We'll add that to your prior winnings for a total of CY$9500.
Doug: Now you ran into a couple of outlaws. At CY$2500 each, it means we add CY$5000 to the outlaw's jackpot. Next time we play Deuces Wild Poker, we'll play it for CY$55,000.
