Deuces Wild Poker Doug: (impersonating Desi Arnaz, Sr.) Oh, D.J., you have lot of 'splaining to do.
D.J.: Yes, I do. Earlier in Joker Poker, when Matt picked the Queen of Diamonds, I inadvertently gave him the Jack of Spades and Todd the Queen instead.
Doug: That boo-boo didn't affect the outcome of the game. Todd still ended up with two Aces and two 10's -- and Matt just ace high. The Queen and Jack weren't factors. Still, since we goofed, we'll bump up Matt's consolation prize from CY$200 to CY$500. Giving him a total of CY$1250.
Doug: Sorry about that, Matt. Dinner's on Deej.
Doug: Right now, we're hoping this time is magic time for Todd Davis. Todd, this is how we play Deuces Wild Poker.
Doug: Just like the last time you played, we've randomly hidden ten outlaw cards. There's one in the top row, two in the second row, three on the third and four on the bottom row. In a moment, you'll pick one number from each row.
Each time you do not run into an outlaw, you win a Deuce for your poker hand. As the title of the endgame implies, Deuces are wild and can be used for anything when the hand's complete. So the more Deuces you win, the better the odds of winning CY$20,000 with a royal flush.
But as you know, much more than 20-grand can be won. If you succeed in winning four Deuces and avoiding all those outlaws, you win the Outlaw's Jackpot worth CY$82,500.

Doug: A jackpot win gives you more than enough for qualification into the mega playoff for CY$1,000,000.
Doug: By the way, 82 and a half grand -- isn't that how much Eliot Spitzer paid Kristen? (scattered "woahs" from the crowd) Just asking. (audience laughs) So, whenever you're ready, Todd, pick a number from the top row.
Todd: 2.
Doug: Number 2 -- is there a 2?
(winning bells; audience applause)
Doug: There is!
Doug: OK, the lovely D.J. just added the Deuce of Spades to your hand. Now we go to the next row. Two outlaws to avoid here. You'll play for the Deuce of Hearts here.
Todd: 9.
Doug: Number 9, number 9. Is it fine?
(winning bells; audience applause)
Doug: Yes it is.
Doug: Two Deuces down, two to go. It's 50-50 time on the third row. Three outlaws to avoid. Avoid 'em and you win the Deuce of Clubs.
Todd: 14.
Doug: If 14 does not hide an outlaw, you play for the jackpot on the bottom row. Let's see 14.
(winning bells; audience cheers)
Doug: YES!
Doug: Todd, we've been here before. Previously, you won three Deuces but didn't get the fourth. You managed to get 20-grand out of that -- which is nothing to sneeze at.
Now, you have another chance to clear that last hurdle. Four outlaws to avoid. Pick one of the two good numbers on the bottom row and you'll win the Deuce of Diamonds -- plus CY$82,500 and a tournament berth. (scattered cheers from the crowd) A lot riding on this. Good luck. Pick a number.
Todd: 22.
Doug: Number 22.

Doug: YOU DID IT!
Doug: There you have it. Four Deuces. Now, we have a few unfinished pieces of business. First, D.J. has something for you.

D.J.: That's right, Todd. We don't bring this out often -- because it's not often we get a jackpot winner. This is our Outlaw's Jackpot card. Take this card -- and place it in that last empty spot on the board.
(Todd takes card; places it in the fifth space)
(slot machine payoff sfx; audience cheers)
Doug: There you have it. The jackpot is now yours officially. Now, before we forget, we did have 10 outlaws hidden. Where were they?
Doug: There they were. Now, Todd, the last piece of good news as we crunch the numbers.
Doug: You've cracked the hundred-grand barrier. CY$118,500. Now, we'll see you later this season for the Mega Playoff for CY$1,000,000. Meantime, we'll also see you on the next show as you, essentially, try to double this total -- and improve your tournament score.
Doug: We'll take a break, simmer down from this and play our audience game -- right after this.
