Joker Poker

(smooth jazz theme plays)

Rich: The championship's on the line. Andy and Will play Joker Poker where one of them could instantly win CY$10,000 and a chance to double the payoff to CY$20,000. Back to Doug Morris and Net Poker.

(audience applause)

Doug: Well, aren't we generous today? Normally, we'd play for a trip in this round -- but the accountants must've found a surplus in the fundage.

ANDY
WILL

Doug: Andy, Will, you did battle in a tie-breaker earlier -- and now you'll compete for the championship.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE
MULTIPLE CHOICE

Doug: As always, our final round's theme is General Knowledge Multiple Choice. I'll give you a question and four possible answers -- the last two of which are always "all of the above" and "none of the above". Buzz in with the right answer and you earn 10 points and control of the up cards. As before, the card you decline goes to your opponent's hand.

And we don't call this round Joker Poker for nuttin'. There are two Jokers in the deck. If you get control of a Joker, you may use it for anything when your hand is complete. We recommend waiting 'til the hands are complete before making any declaration of Joker substitution.

That said, Andy cut the cards for this round since he won the first round. Let's go to Deej for the first cards of this deciding round.

D.J.: And we start with the King of Diamonds and the Queen of Spades.

Doug: Before we get to the first question, one more thing. Five of a kind is possible. So if you make five of a kind or a natural royal flush in this round, it's CY$100,000, a new car and a tournament berth.

Now let's get to that first query...

In the year 2004,...
\ the movie "Frida" was playing at a theater near you.
\ the movie "Nacho Libre" was playing at a theater near you.
\ all of the above
\ none of the above

(Will buzzes in)

Doug: Will.

Will: None of the above, I think they were both foreign.

Doug: Well, nevermind the reasoning -- because "none of the above" is right.

ANDY
WILL

(audience applause)

Doug: "Frida" was released in '02, "Nacho Libre" in '06. Will, you have the first points of the round. Which card?

Andy: Lady luck was there earlier, hope it continues, I will take the queen.

Doug: OK, interesting strategy.

ANDY

WILL

Doug: Andy looks happy he has the King. Let's see two more cards.

D.J.: The 9 of Diamonds and the 10 of Clubs.

Doug: Wow. Low cards -- but one of them's a Diamond. Let's see what happens.

Attorney Roy Black has...
\ hosted the reality series "The Firm"
\ represented radio show host Rush Limbaugh
\ all of the above
\ none of the above

(Andy buzzes in)

Doug: Andy.

Andy: represented radio show host Rush Limbaugh

Doug: Right and we're tied at 10. (audience applause) Actual title for the reality series was "The Law Firm". Andy, which card?

Andy: I want the King to join the club -- give me the Ten of Clubs.

Doug: Interesting....

ANDY

WILL

Doug: ...I thought Will was going to take the King to start the round and here I thought Andy was going for the flush with the 9. What is this -- do the opposite of what Doug's thinking? (light laughter from the crowd) Well, let's see two more cards.

D.J.: The Jack of Diamonds and the Joker.

Doug: Well, first Joker in the game. Let's see who gets it after this query...

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger of California won the...
\ Mr. Olympia title eight times
\ Mr. Universe title eight times
\ all of the above
\ none of the above

(Will buzzes in)

Doug: Will.

Will: All of the Above.

Doug: Nope. Andy, chance to steal.

Andy: None of the above?

Doug: He says with a question -- and it's right.

ANDY
WILL

(audience applause)

Doug: The Governator was crowned Mr. Olympia seven times. He won Mr. Universe four times. Andy, which card?

Andy: Joker, Joker, Joker!

Doug: I was going to say if anyone declined a Joker...

ANDY

WILL

Doug: ...we were going to have to send him to a therapist. (light laughter from the crowd) Two more cards, Deej.

D.J.: The Jack of Clubs and the 9 of Hearts.

Doug: OK, Andy will be 4/5 of the way toward a straight either way. Will could use the points. Next question...

Before being asked by the "Dancing with the Stars" announcer to reveal her score, Carrie Ann Inaba was a...
\ fly girl on "In Living Color"
\ judge on "Dance Fever"
\ all of the above
\ none of the above

(Will buzzes in)

Doug: Will.

Will: I'll guess Fly girl on In Living Color.

Doug: Not right. Andy, chance to steal.

Andy: All of the above

Doug: That's it. (audience applause) She was a judge on the remake of "Dance Fever" in 2003.

Rich: (speaking in his best British accent) Will the contestant please reveal his choice of card? Andy Silikovitz.

(audience laughs)

Andy: I don't know... Jack! The Jack.

(more laughs)

ANDY

WILL

Doug: When did I lose control of this show? (more laughs) OK, with the score 30 to 10, Andy has already won the game. He'll either have a straight or, at worst, three 10s. The best Will can do is three 9s. So, here's what we do in this situation. Let's go ahead and bring in the last two cards for the round.

Doug: There they are. Now let's play a 15-point blind card question. This question also has a chance at CY$2500. The query first....
