Deuces Wild Poker Doug: Kourtney Wilson is our new Net Poker champion and now he plays for more than CY$60,000. Take a look at the screen.

Doug: We've randomly hidden ten outlaw cards behind these numbers. There's one outlaw in the top row, two outlaws in the second row, three in the third and four in the bottom row.
You'll choose one number from each row. Each time you avoid an outlaw, you win a Deuce for your poker hand. The more Deuces you win, the better the odds of making a royal flush for CY$20,000.
However, should you win four Deuces and avoid all the outlaws, you win the Outlaw's Jackpot worth CY$62,500.

Doug: Good luck, Kourtney. We're all rooting for you. Let's start at the top row. One outlaw to avoid. You're playing for the Deuce of Spades.
Kourtney: I am going to try 2.
Doug: Logical beginning. Does he get the 2 of Spades with number 2?
![]()
(winning bells; audience applause)
Doug: Yes he does.
![]()
Doug: Everytime you win a Deuce, D.J. places it in your hand. Let's try to win the Deuce of Hearts now. Two outlaws to avoid on the second row.
Kourtney: 12
Doug: Number 12. Let's hope that good.

(outlaw says "YEEEEE-hawwww!") (audience groans)
Doug: Nope. Sorry. OK, let's go after another black Deuce. You're playing for the Deuce of Clubs on the third row. Three outlaws to avoid. Fifty-fifty shot.
Kourtney: 18.
Doug: Come on, 18. Let's see something good.

(outlaw says "YEEEEE-hawwww!") (audience groans)
Doug: I said, "Let's see something *good*." Outlaw's no good. Kourtney, we're down to the bottom row where the odds are against you. Four outlaws are hidden on the bottom row. If you can avoid them on this pick, you win the Deuce of Diamonds.
Kourtney: 20.
Doug: Number 20. Let's see it.

(winning bells; audience applause)
Doug: All right. Well, we came to a happy ending in this stage of the game. Let's reveal where the remaining outlaws were.
![]()
Doug: There they were. Now, let's see where we go from here.
![]()
Doug: You won a pair of Deuces. Now it's time to start building a poker hand that could be worth CY$20,000. Here's how. We had you cut a deck of cards and the top two cards of the deck will come down the chute face down -- sometime -- when our stage hand feels like it -- and can put down his sandwich.
Doug: Sheesh! I was wondering when he'd get the hint. (audience laughs) As I was saying, you'll pick a card from this pair, we'll turn it face up and add it to your hand. The card you decline goes away and we continue play with the next two pairs of cards in the deck.
![]()
Doug: When all's said and done, your hand will be complete and you'll receive a payoff based on this paytable. I hope the cards you pick are higher than a 9 and of the same suit. That way you'd make a royal flush for CY$20,000. (audience cheers) So, where do we start. Left card or right card?
Kourtney: I am going to take the left card.
Doug: Left card. I hope it's a good one.
D.J.: Oh, 9 of Diamonds.
Doug: Well, already, royal flush is out of the question -- *but*...
![]()
Doug: ...five of a kind is possible if you can draw two more 9s. Let's bring in two more cards.
Doug: And I ask again -- left or right?
Kourtney: Lets try right this time
Doug: The right. Show Kourtney a 9, Deej.
D.J.: Oooh, a King.
Doug: Oh, man, we're going down the food chain.
![]()
Doug: Best hope now is four of a kind. Last two cards for the round.
Doug: Let's hope one of these is a King or 9 for CY$2000. Left or right?
Kourtney: okay I am going to try right again.
Doug: Right card again. Let's hope this is a 9 or King for two grand.
D.J.: A 10 of Spades. (audience groans) Sorry, Kourtney.
Doug: Well, no two-thou -- but you do end up with a straight for CY$750.
![]()
Doug: Let's add this to your prior winnings and you end up with a total for one win of an even CY$3000.
![]()
Doug: Now, let's crunch more numbers. You ran into two outlaws. At CY$2500 each, we add five grand to the jackpot.
![]()
Doug: This means on our next game, you, Jay Cross or someone else will play for CY$67,500. (audience cheers) (smooth jazz theme plays) When we come back, we'll be back in TPiR mode for our audience game -- seems fitting, doesn't it? We'll be back in a moment.
